  1. If you had to pick a game to target first for when World Series tickets go on sale, would you target Game 6 or Game 7? Obviously depends on who the Jays would play.
  2. Go Tigers! Sucks that all ALCS away games are Wednesday/Thursday and Friday. Wish they played on a weekend in Detroit.
  3. If they signed Bo, they likely could move Jazz to an outfield spot and play him occasionally at 2B or 3B when they need to. If Cole comes back healthy, their rotation is pretty solid with him, Fried, Rodon, Schlittler and Gil. They could use some BP help after losing Weaver and Williams. I don't see them in the market for Kyle Schwarber. Yes he would be a great fit at Yankee Stadium, but they already have too many DH type bats with Judge, Stanton and Rice. Yankees should be all over someone like Kyle Tucker or Alex Bregman (if he opts out). Still would need a CF as well.
  4. I would have picked up a pair if I knew damn. I don't mind standing along a perch somewhere. Did that in 2015 for several games. Would buy a single 500 level seat and stand along one of the railings in the 100 level on the first or third base side. I did manage to get a single ticket for the ALCS Game 7 in Section 231. $510 face value lol. Would rather save up for World Series games if they happen, but damn they'll be expensive and probably even tougher to get online when they go on sale.
  5. Wouldn't proclaim Vlad as a HoF type of bat only after 4 Postseason games. Wouldn't call myself a Vlad hater so don't really have to apologize for anything. He has all the talent in the world to be one of the best offensive players in the game, and I've stated that many times. Defensively he has been great as well and has made some big defensive plays this Postseason. Do I think he's worth $500M? I don't think he is, but I understand the Jays had to keep him and regardless couldn't care about his contract moving forward if he helps the Jays win a World Series during his tenure here. I did make a comment that he had a Lyle Overbay type of season power wise this season and yeah that's disappointing for someone who is making $500M. Regardless, Vladdy has had a historic Postseason so far and hope he continues to play like this for the rest of October and into next season.

What's the best streaming service for out of market NHL games? Like if I want to watch the Panthers every night? Sportsnet + premium?

  8. I'll strike you out Spanky everyday of the week. You can't catch up to my heater or hit my 12-6 curve!
  9. That Rogers commercial is so cringe. Like if you agree. 👍
  10. You get the sense this series is going 5 games. needed more from Bieber tonight. Unexpected
  11. John Schneider going to burn through the entire pen tonight before a BP game tomorrow!
  12. Ah when I saw Bieber being lifted after 2.2 innings, got a bad feeling. If Jays don’t win this game tonight, worried about the BP game for tomorrow. Feels like we might see a Game 5. Hope I’m wrong.
  13. Hockey is 3 goals. NFL is 17 points. NBA is 20 points. MLB is 5 runs.
  14. Its ironic how the Jays defensively this game have been sloppy. IKF, Barger and Vlad just now.
  15. I'm all in on the Jays tonight! Double or nothing tomorrow if I lose!
  16. The one plus with the Jays situation is ownership is willing to spend, and will be more inclined to after the season they just had to keep the momentum going. Vladdy and Kirk are locked up which is nice. Would be nice if the Jays could lock Varsho up to a Kirk type of extension this offseason. But yes, this offseason will have to be a busy one. Jays will have to replace two big pieces in Bieber, and Bo. Yesavage and Lauer likely could fill out the rest of the rotation with Berrios as you're #4-5. The Jays do need a #1-2 to pair with Gausman whether that's bringing back Bieber or someone else. As for Bo, I'm fine with the Jays rolling with Gimenez at shortstop, but need to replace Bo's offensive production from somewhere. Also, have to expect some drop-off from Springer realistically and some other players who surprised this season like Lukes, Clement etc. Gotta hope Santander bounces back. Regardless, don't care about the offseason right now. Enjoy the Postseason and worry about that all later haha!
