  1. Carlos Correa on the Covid-IL and likely will miss the series as well.
  2. Chicks dig the long ball
  3. I loved Keuchel in his days with the Astros. Was elite for a couple of seasons. I think he's done now, unless he catches on with an NL team and moves into a very pitcher friendly park.
  4. A lot of people do forget it's a long season, for both hitters and pitchers. If Berrios was like 34 or 35, would worry a bit, though he's still only 28. As long as he's healthy and there is no underlying health concern with his elbow or shoulder, I think he'll make the adjustments.
  5. Berrios is no ace, but can be a solid No. 2/3 with a little more jazz. Wish he could get his K/9 up and I wouldn't be too worried. If he can do what AJ Burnett did here over his contract, I'll be happy!
  6. Semien will be going on a huge hitting streak from this point forward. Will be one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the next 4 months.
  7. Man, the 2015 Postseason seems like such a long time ago. Also, very sad about Yordano Ventura. Tragic to see a lot of young pitchers die in accidents like him and Jose Fernandez all within that span of a couple of months.
  8. So if you went out to a bar tonight and wanted to watch some baseball, good chance they don't have Apple TV to show the Jays haha.
  9. This reminds me a lot like the 2008 Blue Jays team and how they kept giving so many AB's to players like Brad Wilkerson, Kevin Mench, and Shannon Stewart for the first three months of the season. The Jays have held onto Tapia and Zimmer for too long. It's time to make an upgrade, even if it means making a minor trade.
  10. As for trades, my main target at the July deadline would be Andrew Benintendi. Still young, left-handed bat, can play the outfield and hit near the top of the lineup. As a cheaper secondary option, look at Mike Moustakas. Reds will definitely move him and eat some of his salary. Can play 1B/3B and is a left-handed power bat. I like Josh Bell, though I think he'll be too expensive in terms of assets.
  11. I would sign Matt Joyce to a minor league deal. Even look at a guy like Mitch Moreland. At least DHing them would be better than starting Tapia or Zimmer on a regular basis.
  12. Just tell all the hitters to pull the ball more. Bring back Cito!
  13. Even Liberals don't want to live in California anymore. They're all moving to Texas or Arizona.

It's okay, there is always next year for the Leafs!
  15. He's coming from Cincy, so Toronto looks like a 10 to him.

  18. Andrew Benintendi would be the Frank Catalanotto of the 2020s.
  19. Sign both BJ Upton and Justin Upton!
  20. A couple of years ago, the FC Dallas U-15 Academy team beat the U.S. Women' s National Team, 5-2 in soccer.
  21. Have you ever heard of Karsten Braasch, the German tennis player? He played a match against both Serena and Venus Williams when they were 18 and near the top of women tennis. He was 30-years old and ranked 203 in the world. Serena and Venus claimed they could beat any man outside the top 200. Braasch accepted their challenge and beat both of them, playing one set against each. He beat Serena 6–1 and Venus 6–2. This was from a tennis player on the way out who smoked a pack of cigarettes and drank beer during most of his training sessions.
  22. As a Liberatore owner in the LOD, I'm happy!
