  1. Yeah exactly. Profar is a nice piece, but he definitely is kind of stuck in limbo. Probably pushing for a bigger contract, guaranteed starting role/ABs and wants to play on a contender. Though a contending team is unlikely to use him as a starting corner OF. I'm sure even on a contender, Profar could get 400-500ABs due to him being able to play all over. But yeah, wouldn't go multiple years on him.
  2. Yeah I don't get that emotional about players being traded or leaving via FA, though those three leaving for sure hurt as a Jays fan. Especially since I was younger when Green and Delgado left. I think if the Jays got a good return on Halladay, wouldn't have felt that sour but yeah.

Yeah agreed. It was the right call.
  4. Surprised Profar is still available, though heard a lot of teams are put off by his asking price.
  5. It's Joe Inglett. He actually put together a nice half season for the Jays in 2008 I remember.
  6. Phillies signed Josh Harrison to a one-year deal worth $2M. Nice bench depth and at a good price.
  7. Wacha isn't getting 2 years, $30 million. He'll likely have to settle for $20M over two years now.

Bengals IMO were the better team and played better. Some questionable calls during the game yeah. That last penalty where Mahomes was pushed after being out of bounds yeah was a late hit on him. Tough not to call that. Eagles are a much better team, though KC has SuperBowl experience on their side. I'll still lean with the Eagles though.

Haha me neither. Knowing my luck if I ever made a big bet like that I'll lose. I just bet $50 on them to win.
  10. Shawn Green was my favourite player when I was a kid. Definitely that 1998 season with Clemens, Green, Delgado, Canseco got me into baseball.

Eagles were the best bet. Could have dropped $500 or 1K on them today.
  12. The 2003 season was fun. Myers had such an awesome season and Bordick was solid as well. Stairs in 2007 provided some great power numbers.
  13. Josh Harrison is a FA and can act as a super utility guy. Think he put up good stats defensively last season as well.
  14. Welcome to the league Stang.
  15. Even before dropping an end of roster player, you need to sit and make a tough decision on those guys. Like for example if I need to drop someone, I'm debating between dropping Jimmy Lambert or Daniel Norris or Kolby Allard. They all suck, but Lambert and Norris both have SP eligibility and if one makes the team after ST, they could contribute. Allard is still only 25 and who knows if he turns his career around out of the BP with Atlanta.

  17. BORED is definitely a fun league, pretty much identical to the DDL. LOD is on such a different level. Definitely more challenging and every roster piece counts. You're making tough decisions on end of roster guys when it comes to dropping someone.
  18. Send this article to William in the LOD.

Cincy was off to a bad start. 0-2 I believe or something like that. Wanted to bet them to win the division back then because the odds were pretty good. They've played a lot better football in the second half. To go into Buffalo and dominate speaks volumes.
  20. Tigers sign Cesar Hernandez to a minor league deal.

  22. Sorry didn't see the link posted.
  23. Springs signs an extension with the Rays - 4 years, $31 million with a 2027 club option worth $15 million.
  24. Barlow wasn't that sharp last season.
  25. Kenny Lofton career 62.4 WAR. Over 600 stolen bases. Crazy to believe he was snubbed.
