  1. I don't think the Jays will be 10 games back of the third WC spot. Hopefully they're in one of the WC spots come trade deadline and this team adds to make some upgrades.
  2. Yeah you make a good point. I bet a majority of baseball players and coaches agree with these guys. More than other leagues for sure.
  3. Blue Jays should sign him.
  4. Lmao. What's wrong with what Terminator said? If the Jays don't make a run they likely try to sell off veterans or players on expiring contracts like Chapman, Kiermaier, Whit and Belt and some relievers. Doubt they trade guys who are still under club control like Gausman, Vladdy, Bo, Berrios, Kirk, Varsho etc. Again still a lot of time until the trade deadline and the Jays could turn things around, but geez he's just talking about a possible scenario and you're getting all pissy as usual.
  5. You have your hot streaks and cold streaks.
  6. You're bad luck.

    Suns want to trade him?
  8. I'm definitely down for that. High upside arm to roll the dice on.
  9. Marlins are probably the best trade partner for Vlad now since Kim Ng is running the show! Great analysis Terminator!
  10. Sale looked like he was turning the corner and was a helpful source for Ks. McCullers is just glass. Age wise, McCullers over Sale. Though if Sale comes back this season, he might be able to help you down the stretch.
  11. Reds are still at least 1-2 years away before they start making some real noise in the NL Central. They should be a fun team to watch for the rest of this season and moving forward. Brewers likely will take a back seat once Burnes and Woodruff leave via free agency. Cardinals core is getting older. Cubs look like they could be promising but they'll likely have to add some arms along the way. Pirates will always be the Pirates but they should continue to improve. Overall NL Central could be wide open in the next year or so especially if the Brewers and Cardinals take a step back.
  12. I thought the Jays had a state of the art training and fitness facility for players in Dunedin. It's not working.
  13. This team is definitely a better team than what they're showing. But yeah, no excuses for the way they have played up to this point. This team needs to turn things around because right now they don't look like a Postseason caliber team.
  14. Wait, did the Rangers beat the Jays 2 out of 3 games? I thought the Rangers were a fluke thus far and an awful team?
  15. You might have been able to trade Bo to ATL last offseason for Acuna since the Braves were looking for a shortstop after Swanson left and Acuna prior to this season was looking like he was made of glass. Doubt the Braves would need Vladdy right now.
  16. I'll go with Varsho again
  17. I'm using the Murphy contract as a benchmark. So there is no way Jansen gets the same or close to what Murphy gets. L54 suggested 4/40M last offseason and Jansen still likely would get that extension or a bit more right now. It's not like the Jays missed the boat in signing him to an extension last offseason. He likely could sign for similar money now if they wanted to extend him.
  18. I don't think there is much of a difference if they locked him in during the offseason or if they lock him up now. Maybe we're talking about a 2M difference in terms of AAV if anything or an extra year. But yeah something around 4 years/40M would still be doable.
  19. Haha I don't know have to ask him. Would suck if it was the LOD finals and a team rostering Crochet lost the IP category by 0.1 haha.
  20. A win is a win. Take any win we could get. Would love to see the Jays bats though start putting up more runs.
  21. Yeah all the Rays bats have like double-digit HR's, or have a .500 SLG haha. They're all having career years which is crazy.
  22. Garrett Crochet is crying over it. Counts as a hit against him and cost him an inning and a third on his pitching line/season stats.
