Gibson has given up 5, 6 and 4 ER in his last three starts. Coming against Seattle, a really hot Cincy team and the Yankees. He still has almost double the WAR at 1.5 than Bassitt does 0.8 up to this point. 4.05 FIP as well so his ERA should finish closer to 4. Bassitt's FIP is 4.84 currently. So even with the bad stretch by Gibson, he's been the more valuable arm in the first half. Not fanboying him at all, but on a one-year contract he was a solid signing. Orioles should have got more pitching though no doubt. Gibson obviously wasn't enough lol.
