A lot of flex packs or season tickets were sold last winter when there was all the hype surrounding the Jays signing Ohtani. I even know a co-worker who bought season tickets last October/November because of the Ohtani rumours.
As well, it was a beautiful weekend here in Toronto. Not too humid at all, so really perfect conditions to go watch an afternoon game where you won't be sweating or boiling because of the heat. Even for casual fans, seeing a Jays game on a Sunday afternoon, chilling at one of the outfield patios, and drinking $20 beers, is something to do and an afternoon out, regardless of how the team is performing.
Haven't checked StubHub recently for Jays tickets, but wondering if they might be a lot cheaper than the box office, since perhaps some flex pack or season ticket holders wanting to unload their tickets for some games.
