    If that happens in the future and no one catches it, I don't think there should be any additional penalty. It's an honest mistake (I know I came close to doing it about a dozen times this year.)

    Maybe J.P. Arencibia will have eclipsed 100 career walks by 2017 (on someone else's roster though).

    My vote goes to the 11 game win streak. At that point, it felt like everything was finally clicking. We got up to two games over .500 and it looked like we turned our season around and were going to play .600+ ball the rest of the way. It was also right when we got Reyes back. Damn.. we looked so good heading into Tampa on that streak.

    I hope not. I'm banking on him being my 3B as of 2015 in the DDL. I fear that you're right though, and that he's destined for the outfield.

    When Martinez is gone after next season, do you see it shaking up as: 3B: Castellanos 1B: Cabrera DH: Fielder With Fielder and Cabrera filling in for one another over the course of the season?

    It depends what you consider "can play" to mean. Technically, I'm sure anyone can play the position. However, Cabrera's stats show he's been arguably the worst 3B this year. It definitely doesn't make him more valuable that he can slide over and put up poop defensive stats at the corner.

    Not sure if this has been brought up, but it would be interesting to see an analysis on production vs salary in terms of total value. If their production is close, obviously the guy who makes 1/40th what the other makes is more "valuable". It gives his team more financial flexibility to improve the roster at other positions. I wouldn't actually use that criteria to cast my vote though. The MVP award should be for the player who had the most outstanding year. Who gives a damn if his team didn't make the playoffs? It's almost as dumb as voters who look at players' offensive stats when they're giving out gold gloves.

    I'm set up poorly for the next round. I'm down to 5 quality starters and I only have one double start. Not sure how I'm going to approach next week yet.

    Thanks, our DDL matchup was one of the closest matches I've ever been involved in. At the end of the day, the playoffs are one big crapshoot.

    I totally forgot about that. I can't believe you made the comeback to make ERA/OBPA close agian. That was one impressive pitching line yesterday.

    I can only imagine what the 50-60 year old pitching veterans would say if they saw that. Cleveland is in the midst of a wild card race where they are 1.5 games back, yet they pull him after 78 pitches? At least get 5 innings out of him with the way he was dominating.

    DEAR GOD. He's so awful that he will find a way to get you negative strikeouts.

    Very few. Most will end up adding 2-3 K while torching your ratios.

    It's rough because many of the playoff teams have lopsided pitching matchups and are streaming right now. Therefore making the options really terrible.

    Nearly every offensive category in my matchup is dead even. This one is going right down to the wire.

    I think I dug way too deep of a hole for ERA/OBPA. We should have a pretty good idea of how K:BB will go after today.

    Oh thanks that's good to know. I had a similar problem like that once before so I thought it came back again. Hopefully they get their s*** together soon.

    My Yahoo cookies are f***ed up. When I look at the matchup scoreboards, they're frozen on Monday's results.

    Your lineup doesn't have enough gritty vetrinz to be the biggest threat.

    It's because I think your team poses the biggest threat. If I advance, I'm hoping some one else takes you out so I don't have to face you.
