  1. Lawrie is pretty much the only reason to watch this team (EE also)
  2. 100% on board with this, I have been selective rooting for months now! Lawrie! Eddie! Joey Bats! Gose!
  3. Norris has been cruising lately (SSS alert) KD Kennedy ‏@KennedyMLB 31m Daniel Norris has given up just 1R/1ER over his last 20 innings pitched across 4 starts with 25K and 6BB. #Lugnuts #BlueJays
  4. Unfollowed him in the offseason, haven't had the urge to check his profile even once. To quote spanky, he's such a knob jockey
  5. I read an article the other day showing his batting stance changes, he's gone to a much more upright stance. One that is very similar to the stance he had in his 4 month tear in 2011. SSS still but he looks so much better since the all star break.
  6. Lol why am I not surprised NONE of our RPs got moved? Losing more and more faith in this organization with each passing day.
  7. Hutch in beast mode right now 2.1 IP 0 H 0 BB 5 K, hit 93 MPH on his fastball
  8. Lol, I just pictured a Stanton bomb over the monster. Orgasm.
  9. It made no sense to begin with, anyone with any intelligence at all would know not to move an elite defender off his position. Especially with no one coming up that is forcing such a move and to a position that almost nullifies one of his elite tools (arm strength)
  10. BP on Stroman: Pitching Prospect of the Day: Marcus Stroman, RHP, Blue Jays (Double-A New Hampshire): 6.2 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 11 K. Stroman is doing his best to prove he can be a starter. I saw him last week and his fastball worked in the low 90s, his slider came in at 84-86, and his changeup registered 83-85. The positive was I saw that the slider has wipeout (plus-plus) potential, and he coupled that with a changeup that could be solid average. He used his fastball and was able to pitch effectively to both sides of the plate, but I did not like the fact that it lacked life. Someone of Stroman’s stature needs life on the fastball in order to compensate for the lack of plane, or he will give up a lot of long drives when he finds opponents’ barrels. I’ll stick to the fact that I believe Stroman can be a top-tier closer in the league, but if he keeps putting up numbers, I think the Blue Jays will give him a shot to start before deciding on his ultimate role; 33.1 IP, 23 H, 10 ER, 8 BB, 42 K in last 5 starts. From all the different sources that I have read up on regarding Stroman, that seems to be the story behind every report. His fastball doesn't have enough life on it for long term success as a starter given his lack of plane.
  11. ‏@keithlaw In Trenton tonight to watch @MStrooo7 pitch for New Hampshire
  12. Russell! Zimmer! Stephenson! Biddle! Looks like my dynasty team actually has something to look forward to, haha.
  13. If DJ keeps this up, Im hoping they start him in full season ball next year.
  14. Pft. Low A, get outta here with that noise
  15. He looks like a star at this point. Was playing injured for the first 6 weeks of the year and still putting up a 114 RC+ with a .350 wOBA, not to mention he easily sticks at SS
  16. It makes it so much worse now that we know for sure the money was there. Wasting our money on JJ and Buerhle. I have faith Dickey will continue to turn it around but I would easily have taken all of his money to the Darvish fund plus keeping TDA and Noah. Excuse me, I am going to cry now.
  17. Russell, Baez is '92 baby and Lindor is '93
  18. How about a 114 RC+ from a 1994 bday playing SS in Advanced A ball?
  19. Amazing start by Stro tonight. @ShiDavidi @gregorMLB 13 K's for Stroman tonight. Career high and ties NH record. Beat me to it by 1 minute!
  20. Lol he had time to slow up and glide towards the wall. Definitely should have caught it given how well he was positioned. Disappointing, but it happens
  21. JJs fastball command looks really nice early on, hopefully he can sustain it!
  22. Webster is one of the Sox top prospects...it's not like he is some scrub
