Question from the KLaw chat: Sheldon (Ottawa) Thoughts on Mitch Nay - seeing him on some top-10 Jays prospect lists. Klaw I don't think he can stay at third base, and in that case, he'll have to exceed projections for his bat to be an above-average regular.

I'd like to see a draw and kick play with Lowry ball handling. Lowry-Demar-Ross-Patterson-Amir. Everyone can shoot well enough and Lowry can choose to finish/get to the line if he sees it

I would agree but there are a lot of people who think he should be dealt before he either walks or we overpay him. There is precedent for 10+ million for PGs in his class, not a contract I would want to give out personally. Of course if we sign him to 4/32, that would be gravy

Not quite an ideal team, but they are young and talented. Plenty of cap space coming up - main question is do they keep Lowry and build on this core or blow it up completely.

My concern is Rondo cannot shoot outside the key and is mainly a draw and kick type. We have limited shooters already, take away Lowry - I think it becomes too easy to stop our offense

Disagree, this roster does not fit Rondo at all. And it would be a huge package for Rondo...they asked the Kings for Isaiah Thomas Ben Mclemore and a first round pick. No way I would match or even come close to that offer.

That was the worst f***ing set up to the dunk competition. Oh my god...they finally had some nice talent in the competition and completely ruined it with a horrendous set up. That Freestyle round, man.
