  1. Just a sidenote here: If anyone wants to send me offers, send it via DDL PM system, I dont check these msgs as often
  2. I can deal with his offensive abilities, cause he keeps everyone involved and hits an occasional 3. His D on the other hand...may be the worst perimeter defender in the entire NBA, consistently loses his guy off the ball, gets destroyed at the point of attack. Just brutal
  3. Realistically they will have to put Ross on Batum or Matthews, they have too much size for Lowry. We also need Demar to play well defensively, Blazers 1-4 are all well above average players. Im excited for this one, would be a HUGE statement game!
  4. Feel free to shoot me a PM on DDL boards
  5. Depending on what you'd be willing to move, EE is possibly on the table
  6. Small tidbit on Miguel Castro from Parks: Jason Parks ‏@ProfessorParks To name one: Miguel Castro w/ #Jays RT @jterry0509 @ProfessorParks Who's your On the Rise prospect who could make big surge this year?
  7. I think Lowry should net you a much better return (mid to late round pick). Considering he is playing really well right now and Rudy was playing like complete dogshit, plus the fact Lowry is a relatively cheap expiring (8 million I think). Once Kyle goes, the real tank will begin because he is a far more productive player than Vazquez, who may be the worst defensive PG in the NBA.
  8. Lowry has to go ASAP. Dude is going to single handedly win us a few games we shouldn't be in at all.
  9. Exactly. Guys like Lawrie, Rasmus, Reyes, Lind will still hit HR as they are spraying the balls to all fields too. Not to mention the team has a lot of good baserunners, so "station to station" would work quite well on this team considering how often they take an extra base, get a good read/jump off the bat etc.
  10. http://www.ranyontheroyals.com/2013/08/the-missing-ingredient.html?m=0 Good info here
  11. There are a couple nice articles out there on him. Royals bloggers seemingly loved this guy. Had an up the middle approach, rather than pull everything for a HR style. Got fired because the Royals weren't hitting for enough power, while they were consistently near the top of the league in average (didn't cite wOBA). With our hitters natural power, I think having up the middle approach would be the best way to go.
  12. SD, NYM, COL win, SF loses and Seattle is currently tied! Let's go Ms! (not that we can catch them at this point)
  13. So, after reading through this amazing thread. I have come to the conclusion that "theblujay" is the new connorp (the original version, not the legit poster version). Definitely earning a bookmark
  14. Good news on the tanking front my friends. After LAA we play 3 vs BAL, 3 vs NYY, 3 vs BOS, 1 vs CWS, 3 vs BAL, 3 vs TB. Those games are going to be very important to the AL E teams down the stretch so hopefully this BS September hot streak will be over!
  15. Haha that was such a JP inning. Doesn't block the plate on an amazing throw by Sierra, terrible throw against a sub 50% base stealer and then gives almost no effort on keeping the slider in front of him. Santos saves him
  16. Clutch loss today, way to go boys! Special thanks to Mr Shields
  17. Tonight's lineup: CF Davis, DJ 2B Locastro RF Loveless 3B Nay 1B Dean SS Barreto DH Tellez C Saez LF Davis, J SP Labourt Tellez!
  18. One loss separating 7th and 10th, incredibly close. Holding out hope!
  19. Lol, I wouldn't exactly say "with Texas" since he pitched all of 33 MLB innings between 05-06. Clearly wasn't close to being refined yet
  20. Wasn't he a standard pitcher in Texas? After those years he realized he couldn't pitch effectively with "normal" pitches and then made the switch to the knuckle ball
  21. Klaw usually goes out to the AFL - so hopefully we will get a little bit of info on the Jays prospects
  22. Here we come! #2017
  23. Me too. I was hoping and hoping that the Mets' beat writer was just f***ing up.
