His 1st tweet was the 2011 trade for Beltran, way before it was officially announced. Verducci just doesn't know how to use twitter.

    You keep criticizing him for trying to make a move and then you turn around and criticize him for making one. You want someone who is controllable? Well then are you willing to give up Sanchez/Stroman? I don't know what fantasy world you live in but you gotta give up something to get something. You can't get a controllable, decent starter by shipping away scrubs

    If the stats become too drastic in the next few years then I bet there will be changes to the ball or the distance between the pitcher and homeplate.

    I don't know man..sure we'd be getting a lot of talent but him and Lawrie? I think the Dodgers are gonna have to trade one of Ethier/Kemp shortly. Hmm I keep forgetting about Gose who will most likely replace Melky if he bring him as the DH (and E5 goes to 1B as Lind gets traded)

    Yeah I was overreaching on Pedro comparison - it's just hard finding short people who throw heat with good control Though if Trevor Rosenthal ends up a starter in the next few years they'll be comparable.

    Amazing how Dom Brown was the top prospect in baseball like 2 years ago and now he's an afterthought. I'm feeling the same about Profar (even though he plays a premium position)

    Isn't Mesoraco a starter? Hanigan looks like he can be a back-up or starter, even though last year he was s***. In 2012 though he hit pretty well for a part-time catcher

    Clayton Kers- Richards, sorry, was outrighted by the Padres. I always thought of him as a good pitcher, didn't know he stunk so much last year and that he would be 30.

    Very boneheaded play and Matheny threw him under the bus in post-game interviews as if they lost because of him. Hopefully this makes Cardinal fans go all crazy on him and the organization sours him. Then hopefully AA has the savvy to go trade for Wong at his lowest point.
