    Please no. David Price is massively overrated and the numbers show a probably decline. Let alone he isn't controllable. E5 is the league's most underrated players and he is a special slugger in that he simply doesn't strike out for a huge power guy. Mannn. Can you believe we let E5 go a few years ago? And now, possibly, he may be the centre of a huge deal?

    Yeah and he's a very soft-spoken guy. I can't see him delegating at all. At the most I can see him as a roving coach or a guy that sticks around in ST helping the kids.

    Well I think the fans and media need to readjust expectations for what justifies a spot in the hall. I think we still use the arbitrary figures such as 500 homers, 3K strikeouts, 300 wins. But those kind of numbers, especially for pitchers, are just not attainable anymore. Halladay feels like a hall of famer, and I believe he should get in. But knowing how stubborn voters are, I don't think he can get in.

    Gave up a homer to Bobby Higginson. I remember his wind-up was over the top too.

    Shame it would have to end like this. Always felt his work ethic allowed him to work into his 40s Guess he won't make the HOF.

    What a steal. He has recovered nicely and his BB/9 is the best of his career, with a still respectible K/9

    Cano will never sign with us. He'll just use us as leverage against the Yankees or get Boras to claim that a "mystery team" is in the bidding. Then again there doesn't even have to be a real mystery team to make such a claim.

    Acquiring Samard doesn't really seem productive unless we also make a move to get another mid rotation starter. Him alone won't propel us past last place

    Why would we want Castro? Yeah he's young but massively overrated. Constant bone head mistakes. Can he even play 2B, or are you guys suggesting moving off Reyes?

    Nolin is expendable. To me he's like Marisnick/Alvarez/Nicolino. B+ prospects but not players you would absolutely keep under any circumstances.
