A later deadline results in teams truly falling under buyers/sellers, as opposed to the current system where everyone is a seller due to the 2nd wildcard.
So that's good in terms of the frequency of transactions.
However, how about the quality? With a later deadline, you have a player for a shorter period of time. Will this affect the buyer's willingness to send a huge chunk of talent for possibly only 1 month of play? Should it even be a consideration, since the goal is to win the WS?
