    I just don't see how Melky can recover. The guy continues to play on a turf and it's been 3 months now, 4 including ST. You'd think he'd recover in a few weeks but nope. I don't think even a DL stint will help. The guy is a liability in the field at the moment and I can see him getting traded in the offseason.

    What I hate and drives me nuts is when Bautista fake bunts. You're not kidding anyone buddy. I think he's done this 3-4 times this year.

    As I said earlier, it's funny how everyone was hating on the 'intangibles' that a guy like DeRosa brings. "Veterin presents?" Well how about Kawasaki? "Cheerleader extraordinaire"? The way I look at this transaction is to see among whom of Kawasaki, DeRosa, Izturis and Boniface will contribute the most off the bench. DeRosa can play 2nd and 3rd with power and a good eye. Izturis is the same as above Boniface can play CF and is a good late inning running replacement So that leaves Kawasaki, who contrary to popular belief, has never played a single game at second base in his professional career (including Japan). In fact, he has only played SS in all his years. So merely suggesting that he could be flipped over to 2nd is ludicrous. Kawasaki cannot hit. Kawasaki cannot run. He isn't the type of guy that can be your bench player. What Kawasaki is best is your starting SS in the 9-hole. But he just doesn't have the chance here.

    If you have too many subforums people will stop browsing them. I for one don't like opening several windows for each subforum, it's too tedious. Just keep everything in one page. My one suggestion though is to sticky the Around Baseball thread. It's the one thread that will keep popping up year round.

    If I weren't a baseball fan I would have figured people are complaining that the Jays took Bonifacio over Kawasaki. And that this has nothing to do with a guy named Jose Reyes

    Never thought I'd see the 5-tool, all-star potential Jose Cruz compared with the 1-tool Japanese player.

    If Kawasaki remains on this team, no way in hell he's a regular. He won't be playing at 2B. Kawasaki would be able to contribute more if he played more. But with Reyes back, that wouldn't be the case. Izturis, DeRosa and Bonifacio contribute more to this team in a part-time role than Kawasaki would in a part-time role.

    I find it funny when people keep mocking AA/Gibbons on keeping 'veterin presence' DeRosa and hate all this 'intangible' crap yet they seem to want to keep Kawasaki cause he keeps the clubhouse 'loose'? Hypocrites

    286 have been sold for $18. With a conservative overhead/shipping of $10, the guy who designed it made $2288. What's great is that meme's aren't covered by copyrights, and there are no trademark issues here. But I'm not into that business model, I just want something cool to wear.
