    One good thing about being a Jays fan... Apple TV doesn't care about Jays games enough to pick up more than 2 or 3 per season. Next one is April 18th against Seattle, then there's no more scheduled until at least the end of june

    I'm trying to imagine the piece of humble pie Vlad will have to eat of he has a 2-3 fWAR season. I mean, there's no doubt he would eat that slice and probably the whole pie, but..it would be entertaining. Problem is, that likely sucks for the Jays playoff chances unless everything else goes perfectly

    I've said this from the beginning on instant replay. The only consideration that should be used by the replay room is "Can you definitively declare the runner/batter to be out?" If that answer is no, he's safe. End of replay.

    Yeah, but it's incredibly difficult to pick up wins against premium pitching trying to string singles together. You know that. Vlad and Santander specifically need to start hitting for power. It's nice that some unexpected pop from Gimenez has shown up, and Heineman, but they need it from the guys who are supposed to provide it too. Jays have the same amount of team HRs that the Yankees hit in 1 inning a game or two ago. That has to change.

    Its always nice when young players are willing to listen and negotiate on pre-FA extensions. Neither Bo nor Vlad ever were it seems.

    Possible, but that seems like trying to manage a problem that doesn't exist yet. I'm not a fan of that approach when you look at the downside of what might happen if the first game after the day off they also get shitcanned and have to blow out the pen again. Take it as it comes and don;t manage problems that don't exist is how I would go at it.

    Yeah, ive been watching the swing tracker during the games, Springer had the 3rd fastest swing out of anyone in yesterdays game at 81.8 mph on his lineout. He can still get the bat around just fine when he gets what he wants and takes his A swing. Problem was, with that swing he didn't barrel it and it only left at 75.4 mph.
