    I guess in the traditional sense of aguy who doesn't have a plus plus fastball with potential to develop plus secondaries.... this guy is your boring 93-95 fastball with already plus secondaries who doesnt miss the zone. He's only walked like 12 batters in the last 2 seasons without giving up hits either

    See, I always think this is the way to go, but then with the MLB draft you just never know what can happen with teams and who they take. Like, because say the team with the #1 pick will make an agreement with a guy who might only be top 8ish, and sign him to a below slot deal so they can go overslot with their next couple of picks. College commitments make the draft so much more about wheeling and dealing these days than taking the BPA. BPA is a great idea, but we see teams go completely away from it every year.

    That's a good, quick read and touches on recency bias. It does seem to weigh heavily on teams leading up to the draft.

    I just hope some of the board issues are fixed before the draft starts. It's gonna get truly irritating having to refresh it every time - though I understand juiced's priorities are not this board.

    I know there's a rule on what a bona fide slide is, but is there actually a rule on when you can or cannot start it? Generally speaking most guys slide after they are out just to avoid getting a throw in the teeth, or they just peel off the baseline like Kendrys does after being thrown out by 45 feet.

Toronto Blue Jays: RHP Logan Gilbert, Stetson The Blue Jays have been in on college pitching all spring and, in our mock scenario, they'd have their pick of anyone except Mize and Singer here. Gilbert was a potential top-10 pick coming into the year -- he was a possible top-five pick at one point -- though an inconsistent spring has him sliding down draft boards. He offers as much pure upside as any college pitcher in the draft class aside from Mize and Singer. They have Swaggerty falling all the way to 27 to the Nats

    Vlad with an injury after beating out an infield single yesterday. He stepped on the base awkwardly. They say it's not serious. Which probably means his career is over.

    I've never understood why a player is still allowed to try and affect the play once they are out. Bitch slide aside, he's out by 15 feet there easy, why is he allowed to try and interfere with a fielder after he's out? His slide hadn't even started before he was out. A simple rule tweak would easily get rid of this garbage. If your slide hasn't started by the time you've been called out... you can't do it.

    Jesus.... 5 walks, 3 HBP, 5 wild pitches and a throwing error in a half inning. The official scorer must have just started laughing at some point.

    This. Frank's on its own is missing a huge part of a flavour profile, we do the same thing along with a bit of tomato sauce - dilute the Frank's with tomato sauce and butter depending on how hot you want it. The butter really takes it up a notch
