Sure. But he's 19, not 35. Kind of a huge difference. Most fatties never get into the real injury issues until they push 30. Immediately using the fat angle for a knee issue for a 19 year old, especially after his base running thing... just seems like a lazy narative
I wouldn't go near the top 5...
Gretzky, Howe, Orr, Lemieux and Richard are a pretty tough level to crack.
Then... like Beliveau, Messier, Yzerman, Crosby, Bossy, Lidstrom, Bourque, Roy, Brodeur, Lafleur...Harvey even....
I could hear some arguments to slot him in there somewhere depending on how people value goalies and Dmen over dominant goal scorers
Yeah, that's my read too. And he's a bit thick, he's no prince fielder body type either. The posters trolling about a fat 19 year old with already bad knees are just silly.
That said, maybe an injury like this will flick a switch in Vlad's head that getting into better shape should be higher on his priority list
I'd say 1 more level to get truly excited. ... but 21 in high A is a great step. Still dealing with SSS issues there. Definitely a guy to be cautiously optimistic on though
Players of the Day: Santos Moreno, Kevin Smith, Nash Knight, Ryan Noda, Roemon Fields
Honourable mentions: Jose Zepeda, Rainer Nunez, Harold Ramirez, Riley Adams, Patrick Murphy, Chavez Young, Lourdes Gurriel Jr, Danny Jansen, Tim Lopes, Ian Parmley
Libertore has clearly priced himself out at this pointo. It's pretty clear he told teams he wouldn't be signing for less than top end money
What's the scare on Singer though?
