I know this is a broken record lately, but again the top 3 missed calls in terms of changing run expectancy went against the Jays. -

This argument doesn’t hold water when it’s very clear that Jansen set up on the far outside of the plate- very far from his arm side. Of course I can’t blame Borucki for saying that since he can’t go out and admit throwing at him, but still, make it sound better. -
And the perfect replacement is already in house. John Schneider would be the perfect choice.

Right up until Choi that is. This ump obviously favours the outside strike. I wouldnt even come close to the inner half with this clown behind the plate.

Yeah, though its hard to know how much is the umps influence with Bo. He's never met a pitch he doesn't want to swing at. Edit, after seeing that call to Teo... i now know the answer. WTF is wrong with this crew?

Bit of a slump latelyy, still a 120 wRC+ for September. McGuire's wRC+ For september is -10. However, overall this season he is league average against RHP, so it's not super egregious.

I dont know why they wouldnt just through a breaking ball or something. At least make it look unintentional and it just "slipped". Or throw behind him. Dont be one of those clows who takes 3 pitches to hit a guy with a fastball.

Objectively, the way he's been hitting this season it's actually better if the Jays don't hit him and actually pitch to him. That would hurt the Rays more.

He was actually worse than Kulpa. He had 92% accuracy outside the zone and 90% inside. West was 91% outside, 89% inside. And both games, the 6 calls that were blown that made the most impact were all against the Jays. Just insane how bad those two have been the last 2 nights.
