Shoemaker was interviewed after the game and said he felt good and wanted to pitch further into the game. I don't know if the injury and early hook are connected.
I brought up Wilmer Flores, Asdrubal Cabrera, and Tommy La Stella in another thread. There is no shortage of infield bats on bad teams. Considering what we got for Galvis last year, they should be pretty much free.
Montoyo needs to rip into these hitters.
Disgraceful approach, lack of execution, boneheaded plays. I don't think I have ever seen an offensive performance this poor.
I don't think the team has played a worse game this season. Perhaps not last season either.
The hitting is disgustingly bad against pitching that hasn't been very good. These guys should be ashamed of the way they have played. Just disgraceful.
You contradict yourself in your own post.
"I'm not saying he will be easier to acquire. I'm just saying that he will be available and his trade value will be reduced."
This is one of the silliest exchanges I have ever had on this forum. Have another drink and enjoy the rest of the game. Cheers my drunk or high friend.
I don't get why you have to lie when your quotes are right there, but whatever.
Star players get good returns even if their relationship with their team is not good.
Star players with extra control get even better returns.
I don't agree with your assertion that both of those statements are untrue and there's no point in continuing to argue that point or backtracking your previous statements.
You need to get it through your head that his relationship with the Indians doesn't affect his trade value.
If the White Sox, Yankees, and Blue Jays all want Clevinger then they are bidding against each other. The price will be extremely high.
Your pie in the sky scenario is that the Blue Jays are the only team that wants anything to do with Clevinger and the Indians trade him for pennies on the dollar because relationship has soured. Is that realistic? I think not.
