A lot of us questioned the decision to thoroughly ignore the bullpen after making a big investment in Ryu. I still question the decision now. Throwing a couple million at a Brandon Kintzler may have been a good idea.
I can hardly tell the difference between this and an average Rays game as far as the atmosphere goes. I really noticed it at Fenway, but this looks pretty normal.
That's probably true, but I find it hard to believe that they would have denied a team like Cleveland or Philadelphia if they were in the same situation.
Americans seem to have given up for the most part and will just let the virus run it's course while they go about their normal activities. I think that perceptions will dictate the path of sports more than numbers and facts.
