    I don't think he would be added anyways, but fair enough. I liked all of the other trades very much. The Steipling one I am on the fence.

    I don't have a big problem with the trade, but to pretend that a 2019 draftee is creating a roster crunch is pretty ridiculous.

    Hard to say, but he played a lot of 3B in the minor leagues.

    I think the smart play when Bo returns is Villar at 2B and Biggio at 3B on days where we need Villar on the infield.

    I don't think Atkins picked him up only for Montoyo to not use him at shortstop.

    If the price for Stripling was one of our top 10 prospects then surely Atkins would have pivoted to a cheaper pitcher like Minor. I think he was going to lose his roster spot in Los Angeles and they moved him for whatever was available.

    I wouldn't be surprised if he sat around 96 from the left side out of the bullpen. If Pete Walker can fix the command a bit, he'll be a useful addition.

    I think that Atkins has a couple of minor deals for a pitcher and infielder in his back pocket. It makes some sense to wait on them until he has fully explored the deals for the big name players.

    I'll be mildly surprised if he faces the starter more than once, but still an awful decision.

    Just when I think the Orioles don't have any more pitchers I have never heard of, they start another one.

    The Padres 7th ranked prospect was a shortstop and so was ours. Their system is actually better than ours. My comparison didn't go any further than that.
