  1. My grandma has been in the hospital for a few days. Whenever she manages to wake up, she wants to know the score in the game. They haven't lost since she got here and she is delighted.
  2. Bauer's 2020 season may change some perceptions of his talent level. He's pitched exceptionally well.
  3. He had a reasonable shot at passing A-Rod for home runs too if this were a full season, but I don't know what's left for milestones. I hope he retires after this season. It's sad to see such a legend play this poorly.
  4. 21 million would be equally shocking on the low side. Cole Hamels just got 18 million at age 36. Bauer should certainly approach or exceed 30 million, even with teams spending less.
  5. https://nowtoronto.com/culture/toronto-blue-jays-homeless-jays-shirt There's nothing more vile than self deprecating humour from people who give millions of dollars to help fight homelessness. It's far better to do nothing and instead fake outrage at harmless fun. Shame on them.
  6. If that somehow wins a world series then I'm cool with a 12 year extension for both
  7. Ender Inciarte 76.2 for this season. Last year it was Billy Hamilton, which isn't surprising, but next was Victor Robles.
  8. I don't recall Grichuk getting upset about something like this, but I don't use twitter. I have seen him weigh in on guys openly taunting their opponents.
  9. I don't want to overstate this, but Dmitri Young was actually a useful player and very good hitter.
  10. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/mlb/news/rangers-fernando-tatis-jr-unwritten-rules/xfovfsa5c7o11cyl29c5acnhg Never change, Rangers.
  11. That seems to be an equally good description of Montero.
  12. Boston's starter ERA is 7.13 and will be even higher after tonight's game. When is the last time we saw a pitching staff this bad?
  13. Get Nunez the f*** out of there. Donaldson used to do that and the opponents would complain.
  14. I knew Boston would be bad, but not the worst team in the league. This is awesome.
  15. Jesus Montero
  16. Who do you pull from the rotation? Shoemaker or Roark?
  17. We have a playoff calibre pitching staff for 2020. If the hitters can get it together, there's no question that this team would be in a playoff spot.
  18. I wasn't really pleased with the return for Josh Phelps. Eric Crozier never did much.
  19. If you consider Tim Anderson to be great.
  20. Boston has the most losses in the league. This season is so great.
  21. Just following along online, why is there no 2B ump?
  22. Come on Bo, crush this 4A bum.
  23. Montoyo managed the bullpen very well tonight. Credit where credit is due.
  24. I like our pitching and would rather invest in a bat. Maybe bring back Anderson or Shoe, but you have to give guys like Kay a shot at some point. I wouldn't hate a short term veteran bat like Brantley.
  25. I know I'll get a bunch of hate, but there's something so satisfying about a Canadian succeeding with their home club.
