I would be shocked if the Jays make the playoffs and turn any of the core pieces over. AA likely stays pat, and hopes to have room to re sign Melky and add a SP. Cut ties with Santos, Morrow (?) likely keeps the payroll similar to this year with arb raises and increases to Reyes without looking up the numbers.
If the Jays aren't contending like this again come this time 2015, I agree with you, it makes absolute sense to start selling. A playoff run likely keeps the same squad together to at least start the season.
I don't think this year is the right time, but if we pay Edwin and Jose well into their 30's to be Blue Jays, the inevitable decline will come, followed by mediocrity again. Choosing when to sell on them will be key, although it won't be this year (nor should it be at this point). I agree with what you're saying, that we need to replenish the major league team with young talent. When and how will be interesting to see.
