  1. He absolutely shouldn’t be a starter. Maybe for the Pirates but not the Jays
  2. I would’ve said no
  3. Joey Wendle > Santiago Espinal Would anyone really be surprised if Espinal had like a 70 wRC+ and slugged .330 next year? I wouldn’t He’s basically David Fletcher. If he runs into a season where guys are knocking the bat out of his hands he is legitimately useless at the plate.
  4. I mean I’ll trade him to you if you’re interested if my guy is gone
  5. Ask away brother. Can be a lot to take in at first!
  6. AJ Pollock available
  7. If you see something better than Victor Robles on my roster let me know I’d like to trade into a pick here
  8. Oh well gives Connor Jr. one good prospect at least
  9. Not gonna lie I was trying to find a way to trade in to take him too
  10. There goes Jim’s target
  11. It’s definitely not a necessity but Kirk is a bit of an enigma on the current roster. On one hand he could easily slot in as the DH most days while catching 2x a week which makes him a valuable player. On the other hand he’s quite expendable under the current roster construction because: A) you’re dealing from a surplus of catchers he’s probably the worst defender of the three C) he’s the catcher who holds the most trade value D) he’s a proven major league commodity and young catchers are hard to acquire Kirk can be dangled as part of a package for an SP or an infielder and the Jays can roll with Jansen/McGuire to start 2022. Jansen’s strong finish and great D give a lot of people confidence in him to be an average catcher at least.
  12. Jimmy got his guys I like the BTS side But I understand the fun in shaking up your roster too
  13. Two picks in and someone is already complaining about the pace of the draft
  14. Why not ban the obvious troll?
  15. You make a good point and adding him to the fold makes the infield extremely fluid. Don’t love the offensive player but he’s the kinda guy the Jays should target every year on one year deals like the Braves have been doing. Huge upside and could have a productive season in this lineup
  16. There’s no way they don’t add an infielder. The pickings in FA are slim so it’ll be interesting to see who they acquire and whether it’s via a signing or trade
  17. I think the FO has placed a large emphasis on the quality of human inside that clubhouse which in turn makes Charlie’s job even easier. Alex Wood on record speaking to Gausman’s character and the fact they’ve been chasing him for a couple years says a lot.
  18. Alex Cobb was really good last year
  19. Free market is king The boys are getting paid Find a way to get better. End of story.
  20. Riley Greene side
  21. Pearson threw 45 innings last year. Even if he's electric they're going to have to restrict his workload.
