  1. 98 A 2nd Leg To Stanton - Joe Ross 103 A 2nd LegTo Stanton - Dustin Peterson Silverdumb traded 56 to jaysblue and 96 to me, both as throw-in picks. 56 = Cesar Puello 96 = Nick Williams Silvergun Lance Berkman, MiLB #46 jaysblue Wily Peralta, MiLB #56 Silvergun Patrick Corbin, Tony Cingrani, MiLB #18, MiLB #40 NJH Alex Gordon, Kevin Slowey, MiLB #96, MiLB #99
  2. therealmin Josh Donaldson, MiLB #98, MiLB #103 Silvergun MiLB #56, MiLB #96 There are some other terrible, terrible trades in hindsight.
  3. It's funny that Peralta is the most valuable guy on the other side
  4. I told you, I'm a silent co-manager
  5. best pick of the draft...
  6. You always need to apply some general skepticism to an advanced player that only had 54 pro games, all below A+. I think people are getting a little bit carried away with him right now.
  7. Colabello is a dynasty outfielder
  8. "A Torrent of Entitled Whining" would be a good title for Boxy's memoir
  9. Reply to you: Wow. What a torrent of entitled whining. Sure, I understand that it's reasonable to want to see Chris Davis listed with the 1Bs. The team has explained why they haven't done so. It's incredibly easy to make your own mental adjustment. If 'this kind of garbage' refers to the comprehensive position by position roll-out that BP has put together that goes beyond last year's excellent coverage, well, I guess your standards for 'not garbage' are exceedingly high.
  10. 61 comments, jfc. These guys regularly spew out articles that get 1, 2, 0 comments. Their top 10 lists rarely scrape 20 comments anymore, and those are labour intensive pieces that use eyeball scouts.
  11. We got them to redact Brandon Moss! drinks?
  12. I bet Sham-piro didn't even make him an offer
  13. 35+ comments, this might be the hottest BP article since Mike Fast left
  14. Currently brainstorming hard about how to incorporate Bret Sayre into my PL team name Sayre's Hot Takes is weak but good enough as an initial thought
  15. It's probably the second sentence that has people downvoting. "this list is garbage, f*** BP, f*** Bret Sayre's hot fantasy takes, I am unsubscribing" is pretty hostile
  16. I doubt that was an oversight
  17. Also, how is Dan Vogelbach still a thing people care about? Yonder Alonso ceiling (with no path to playing time) = 23rd Yonder Alonso himself in a starting role = 43rd
  18. He ranked AJ Reed, who may or may not even get 100 PA in the majors this year 10th, but decided to list Davis with the dynasty OF because he'll carry eligibility in 2016. Wrap your pin heads around that. Also, some other guys down the list have eligibility elsewhere. Brandon Moss
  19. Abreu should be like, 6th. Greg Bird not even making the list is egregious. Not as egregious as forgetting Chris Davis though. *slips out of thread before Boxy notices*
  20. I agree with this list entirely. Actually wait, I would move Saunders up at least above Bautista and Squints down two pegs.
  21. why you no join Premier League? We're getting the old gang back together for one last hurrah before, you know, we all die prematurely in the Apocalypse having wasted our lives on the bjmb playing fantasy baseball.
