That's sad. Arguably college was even worse than the minors for two reasons: He is foregoing a bonus and taking a risk, and he has the added burden of academics. It's fruitless speculation but you wonder what would have happened had he just put everything on the table, full disclosure, and signed an underslot deal with an informed and understanding org.

His swing is a bit too rotational, and there are some balance issues (check the weird angle of his spine/body in the follow through) but this is a great, aggressive foundation. Be YOU Bo. HDMH

IMO every healthy #1 upside arm leapfrogs him, which means he slots in probably @ 21 behind Anderson Espinoza for me. I think you can argue for him even being worse I think in the most optimistic ranking you put him after Glasnow and Giolito, so 15th overall. You're talking comparable ceilings but Glasnow and Giolito's warts aren't as big as fresh TJS.
