    I put Akil Baddoo, Luis Oviedo, and Hirokazu Sawamura on debut waivers. Anyone other noteworthy debuts this weekend that should go on waivers? Note that if anyone played on April 1 they were claimable last night and are now just fair game.

    It definitely seems like there is no coherent plan. Compared to many other MLB orgs with established front offices and systems I'm sure the Mets are a bit of a mess internally - money doesn't make you functional. I wonder if Cohen regrets some of the stances they took in free agent negotiations in hindsight

    I think Cohen just got out maneuvered. Lindor's agent played it perfectly and milked every dollar out of them.

    I figured with the Mets willing to do 10/$325 there was no way a deal would not happen. Any indication that Lindor was not willing to accept 325 was posturing.

    But increased velo misses more bats. Even if Zeuch's K rate goes up only a few percentage points it could be a bit deal for him

    It's not that hard to lose a big chunk of weight when you are a fat ass. Very realistic weight loss for a guy his size, with a personal trainer.

    This is... a false dichotomy. Most people are way better to be around than Shea Hillenbrand types OR your "lazy liar" types, which both suck ass. It's not one or the other because the majority of people are neither.

    I like the depth of the draft as far as picking 19th goes. They should be able to get someone who will have been talked about as a potential top 10 pick heading into the draft.

    In past years we actually had no add/drops in the offseason, of course. This is actually our first offseason on Fantrax and we had a weekly transaction limit the whole time. I dunno man, feels kind of weird to change it now because you fired three blanks yesterday. I think on Monday you get a fresh 5 adds anyway so you are probably wrong about it affecting your week 1 matchup. Check on Monday.

    The written rule is: 2.1 Lineup Setting is mandatory. Owners that do not set lineups with active MLB players for an extended period of time may be expelled from the league or face other discretionary consequences (such as pick loss). So not a hard rule that every active slot needs an active player although that is the general idea. Historically we have not cracked down on anyone who has a green flag or two in their active roster for a relatively short period of time.

    You should be able to swap them. I think there is a setting under Team Settings that you might need to change. You don't want the setting where it tries to automatically submit every lineup change - you want the setting where you make all your changes and then hit the submit button.
