    Beltre may never play with some of these guys so maybe it doesn't matter where he plays relative to them. My gut says Bo is a good 3B/2B, Martin is a 2B/CF, Groshans is a 3B/RF/1B, and Orelvis is a 2B. Whether Bo is playing short should depend on if a superior option is on the roster.     None of them are natural shortstops unfortunately. Bo probably has the best chance of all them. In the system there are Rikelvin De Castro, Estiven Machado, and Leo Jimenez. One of them might be more of a pure SS.

    Was just going to say that Zeuch was doing fine and kind of getting f***ed by inexplicable blown strike/ball calls up in the zone... but he seems to have lost it now. When he is giving up hard contact in the air it's over.

    Maybe we should have expected some of the younger players to come out of the gates slow, under the weight of expectations they've never really dealt with before. I'm not the least bit worried. If they suck at the end of April we can panic together.

    Ross Stripling needs to figure it out. We haven't even caught a glimpse of what he is supposed to be yet. In almost every appearance he has had as a Blue Jay he has been quietly pummelled. Just has a knack for giving up a handful of hard hit balls and three our four runs in like four innings of work. Sneaky bad.

    The days of the bench being mostly veterans are sort of gone. Lots of teams give those spots or most of them to young, cheap players now.

    He's lost at the plate right now but be fair. He has had very good plate discipline at times in the past (2020 and in the minors) and has paired big raw power with contact ability. I'm not convinced he's a starter on a good team but he could make it and he could more likely be a good role player. If everyone is healthy in Toronto he could be on the bench and he's a nice guy to have on the bench.

    I don't see any justification for keeping Roark around. Surely any of Zeuch, Kay, Thornton or maybe even Milone would be just as good or better. Or just call up SWR... every game matters.

    I wonder if the performance was affected by the injury. I think he's worth considering if the scouting data from prior years has his upside up near the top of the draft. He basically has no college sample - only a couple of games in 2019, then covid, now this.

    Tellez isn't just having bad results - he looks lost. You could justify benching him based on scouting I guess. He is swinging at terrible pitches, hacking. Blech. Looks nothing like 2020 Rowdy and everything like the guy I thought was a replacement level player before 2020.

    I still don't get it. I'm looking at the transaction history and you added three guys on Monday the 29th and then two more on April 2nd. That's five adds this week. I think tomorrow they might reset... Not sure though
