  1. holy f***, wander franco is imminent watch tampa get like two new tyler glasnows for willy f***ing adames
  2. Lol. So if they win the next two series they don't need to improve the pitching and Springer can stay home?
  3. No, I'd take Kiriloff for sure.
  4. It is truly incredible. I have never liked the Giants but you can't help but cheer for them at this point. They even find a way to milk value out of their s***** old veterans getting paid way too much. Posey, Belt, Longoria, Cueto, and Crawford are all contributing if not starring.
  5. You only have like, 2 or 3 good players injured in this one. That's not that gross.
  6. The only rule is that players with at least 1000 PA or 50 GS for pitchers have to be promoted at the time of our draft. There's no 14 day rule like LOD
  7. Best player - no. Most talented player - perhaps. If there is one "generational talent" in the game right now the two candidates are Trout and Ohtani. The argument for Trout is that he is an elite hall of fame talent. The argument for Ohtani is that his skill set has never existed before.
  8. Bottom 5 per Fangraphs guy LMFAO
  9. Seems like a total push. Age is even pretty close and Mancini's health risks going forward are also washed out by Haniger's injury risks.
  10. Is this a non baseball move? Pure marketing. 500k to be forever linked to a legend. All it takes is like one big home run in the uniform. I dunno On the purely baseball side it's hard to see the why
  11. The Twins are a surprising tire fire this year
  12. I forgot George Springer existed for a few days.
  13. I think a lot of that rapid change in status was ignorance from not getting to see what Manoah could have done in 2020. No stats. From what we've seen this year, in a normal 2020 he is probably absolutely nuking A+ and AA and sliding into top 25 prospect status.
  14. I don't accept that Nate Pearson has strike throwing issues. He has in small sample sizes but I think it is mostly due to inconsistent pitching schedules because of his injuries. Now he does have obvious injury problems. He is still a guy who has barely pitched in the majors but dominated the minors, when healthy. Everyone is right in this thread. Pearson higher upside but Manoah might be the better prospect because his upside is pretty close and he's much likelier to hit it. Manoah is Lance Lynn, I've always said it.
  15. The Royals aren't that bad. They have a good number of high upside young arms (Singer, Lynch, Bubic, Lacy, Kowar) and Bobby Witt Jr. on the way. Also some watchable talent on the real team this year. They remain annoying to play and I don't think that is changing any time soon.
  16. Holy f*** that is nice. Now I want to watch an entire John Libka game. Can you buy a Libka ump shirsey?
  17. I thought Matz was doing really well but I just looked and he's just doing kind of okay! 4.86 ERA, not a lot of WAR!
  18. Not watching. Does Gilbert look mediocre?
  19. Maybe, but it goes both ways. It would change the game dramatically that's for sure. There are certain pitches that clip the zone but never get called strikes right now (think a huge hammer curve, you can basically throw one that hits the zone but then hits the dirt).
  20. No, the penalty will prevent frivolous challenges. If you challenge a borderline strike 2 call and you were wrong, then it's automatic strike three and you've taken the bat out of your own hands. Players will likely only challenge the really bad calls. I think. I mean you trial it in AAA first anyway.
