    Chapman PROJECTS to be the team's 7th best hitter, guys. Seventh. Vlad Springer Bo Teo Kirk Gurriel Chapman (that's wOBA projected in order, based on the FG DC projections) I don't think they hit him 2nd in the order unless he is killing it for several weeks of the season

    Man, Conforto for 1/$18 would be f***ing sweet. 2.5 WAR projection but probably 4 WAR upside.

    Well, in our era there was Rolen and Beltre and that was very true for both. Call that small sample size or recency bias, but some common sense applies too --- the position is a lot of arm + sure hands, and less range dependant than other spots so it makes sense that a good defender could age more gracefully at third.

    Less than no chance. Toronto isn't going to pay six arms and forth two legs for a star from a division rival coming off a career year... Also, Grichuk is very much already freed up for a trade!

    Agree on general but I just had in my mind this vision of Kenley Jansen being a 0.4 reliever blowing a bunch of games and Chuckles just keeps rolling him out their in the 8th and 9th all the way to the bitter end Age, injury history, walk rate last year... And I think Eno says his stuff is down or something. Or command+ cratered. I forget

    Yeah they really need like, Dane Dunning AND Spencer Howard to be really, really good and I am not sure those are good bets to make.

    take the over on Baltimore, that seems too harsh. they are going to have Rutschman and Mullins and then like five non-zero position players behind them. Some of the young arms projected for almost nothing are actually somewhat interesting.
