I don't think it is. Castro is fungible. Zimmer is a less fungible type of player. And short term could be a couple months; they could legitimately have a four man bench or Tapia, Zimmer, Collins, and Biggio.
Espinal already has THREE batted balls with higher EV than his max last season.
Dude is going to hit a 112 mph 440 foot homer at some point
Cavan Biggio is f***ed
I made a mistake and put Josh Winder on debut waivers when he hasn't played yet. He made the team but has not pitched. My bad.
He was on debut waivers and unclaimed. I did announce that he was on debut waivers
I am going to say that he has debuted and cleared waivers as far as the rules are concerned so he can be added
TCA wants him but has politely asked if he is fair game.
yes
they picked him in round 3 of the 2021 draft so he was a bit of a draft sleeper but reports popped up shortly after the draft that his stuff was good and his velocity was higher than many scouts realized
it was a steal of a pick. i think his signing bonus was $644k and already he probably has more trade value than most players taken in round 2 who signed for over $1M
I can't find anything on this now. Swear I heard it. Something like the scorer has more discretion to assign the W to the most effective pitcher, even if they weren't the pitcher of record traditionally before a lead change.
but why are you high on Jansen and Garcia? Just curious.
I understand the former top prospect appeal of Gray and I know Hernandez is very much your type since you are K/BB addict .
Love early season baseball.
Guy homers in one game. Everyone: hmmm what if this guy homered in like every other game this year? That would be pretty good.
Stripling's strength is pitching multiple innings with mediocre results. He's not better in a late / close situation than almost any other Jays pen arm.
