  1. no team is risking 3/75M on him man
  2. Dodgers have 20M for Kershaw that isn’t included yet in that figure
  3. Nah they will want a one year pillow if he has a big year they will want a career contract next
  4. You are such an NPC lmao
  5. In everything Basic logic
  6. Who is hunting PITCHING? I have some P depth I can move. SP Kyle Bradish - was extremely good in the 2nd half and flashed dominance Dean Kremer - rock solid, all BAL P look like good ERA bets in new park Daniel Lynch - young, former top prospect, good stuff and okay ratios buy before breakout RP Dylan Floro - Closer on Marlins depth chart, ended season in that role, good numbers Drew Smith - Setup on Mets depth chart, good numbers and K rate, sits 96 Jason Adam - Dominant 2022 season and in the Closer orgy for the Rays Brandon Hughes - Closer on Cubs depth chart, ended season in that role, good numbers rookie, elite MiLB numbers Some can be had for decent picks. Some would look to package or swap for upgrades or a bat. Would also consider moving Stroman, Waino, Hendricks, Means Have a few bats available too including Tim Anderson, Sal Perez
  7. Oh yeah he’d murder anybody
  8. The Blue Jays I would be most terrified of in a fight: Cimber - probably a literal boxer with a mean uppercut Guerrero - nobody has a chance against his power and weight Kirk - I bet you can't even knock this guy over he's like a quintessential luchador Romano - He's so mentally ill he might kill you
  9. Good question honestly. I think every Blue Jay would kick my ass except for: Biggio - even fight he has the reach but I have the weight advantage and the desire Gurriel - I think I could get a lucky punch and phase him White - pussy Kikuchi - lmao
  10. The M on the hat is weird. Reminds me of the Marlins hat.
  11. been past his prime for a few years now
  12. I mean you are getting Cavan Biggio level physical tools if you sign Nimmo. Think about that.
  13. Nimmo is a -3.4 UZR/150 in CF in his career and -1.5 in the OF generally. His OAA was a nice +6 in CF in 2022 but in 2021 it was +4, 2020 it was -4, and 2019 it was 0. He just kind of looks like a neutral defender in CF. I mean you can't sign him approaching 30 and think you are getting plus defense for years out there. You might get a year or two of good D but you've gotta think he's a corner OF in 2025. Weird player to project long term because of the lack of pop. You just REALLY prefer to give big money to guys who have elite athleticism, or elite pop, or some other elite tools. Nimmo is al elite EYE but everything else is kind iffy or up and down.
  14. Metrics might have loved his defense in 2022 but if you look at his whole career he's probably NOT anything close to an elite CF/OF.
  15. I really think the team wants to avoid bringing in any more players who need to use the DH slot AT ALL. They already have Vlad, Kirk, Jasen, and Springer who use the DH slot on occasion and they have a LF with s*** defense. And now Horwitz on the 40 man. I could get behind a Brantley signing but really only if Kirk is being traded. And I don't want them to trade Kirk!
  16. well it doesn't need to be adjusted down through arb these are non-guaranteed deals so if the team does not think the player is worth anything close to the arb projection anymore they just non-tender them and some other team can then sign them for whatever they are actually worth
  17. You'll take whatever Atkins gives you, you don't run this team
  18. There are like, zero CF free agents after Nimmo and Kiermaier so you would def need to pay Bellinger SOMETHING. It will be interesting to see what happens. B prospect + Dodgers eat some money is reasonable. You get him, you get the upside, cost is known.
  19. I dunno. If you just EXPECT him to do nothing other than play good D, run the bases well, and hit .210 while accidentally running into 20 homers.... it would be fine.
  20. I think they are absolutely working on trades and they will probably just keep him if they don't find a nice swap.
  21. Probably but I think he would want a pure one year deal.
  22. Man a dream scenario for Toronto would be Bellinger for peanuts. Even if he plays no better than 2022.
  23. early career Kevin Pillar was the platonic ideal of many things. he needs to be a statue.
  24. Well it's not going to be a literal "all glove" CF like JBJ or Zimmer. They were like 50 wRC+ players. True zeroes with the stick. Someone like KK would be a 85 to 90 wRC+ player (projection and 2022 results). That's palatable, playable, perfectly reasonable. So a "mostly glove" CF.
