  1. It's incredibly deep. They also have Megill, Paddack (second half), Maeda, SWR, Winder, Balazovic, Ronny Henriquez, Cole Sands... But I don't see a #1 and I don't really see a #2. Weak as f*** at the top. They have like 6 #3 SP though.
  2. So he ate well and did lots of stretching!
  3. depends on the people I guess
  4. 8 prospects on the top 100 probably translates to what... 2 or 3 good MLB players and then a bunch of guys you need to either trade at good times or watch bust? I think two years ago Toronto had 7 or 8 on top 100 lists. Groshans, Kirk, Moreno, Pearson, Manoah, Martinez, Martin, SWR. 5 of those 8 are firmly in the "should have sold" category and Toronto did sell three of them. Two bad keeps (Orelvis and Pearson). Two good keeps. One who was traded and it won't be clear for probably 2 years whether or not that was a good decision (Moreno). Having a cluster of good prospects is like 15% of the equation. The Orioles should have started ramping up this offseason.
  5. He's super old and the ISO drop off last year is concerning why do you even want to move him though? you don't have a replacement
  6. KK and Bassitt in Leafs gear
  7. I don't think the Orioles came up once in rumours They went into the off-season with Kyle Gibson etc as their top targets
  8. ??? It's pretty clearly the worst jays game of all time from a jays perspective is it not?
  9. Red Sox: Well, Trevor, it looks like you are playing shortstop this season so you better get that arm stretch out. Trevor Story: Blows out his arm immediately.
  10. I guess in time it will become cool to say that I was at the worst game in Toronto Blue Jays history? I guess? haha I mean, if they win it all during my life then it becomes jokes. Almost a romantically sad but funny memory. If they never win the WS it will be just a plain sad/bitter memory to haunt me on my deathbed. As I die on a ventilator from Covid28.
  11. I don't even like baseball
  12. I can only speak for myself but I was at game 2 and I sat in stunned silence for most of the game then I cried on the Go Train in front of my father in law and peed my pants a bit
  13. well, no.... but the hardcore Jays fans had nothing to cheer about
  14. They suck. They project for less wins than: New York, Toronto, Tampa Bay, Houston, Cleveland, Seattle, Minnesota, Texas, Chicago, and LA. And only 3 more wins than Baltimore. They could make the playoffs in a wild card spot but they need like 7 things to go right including: Chris Sale fully healthy and good Casas breakout Yoshida being good Someone like Kike or Arroyo or Verdugo having a big surprise year Bryan Bello breakout Paxton contribution Whitlock being a good starter just way to many things need to go right lmao
  15. The sponsorship is fine, haha Corona probably has to double their marketing budget for the next few years to reclaim their brand.
  16. Nah men there are exactly 3% too many black people in this 3d video f***ing justin trudeau
  17. The Coronavirus Rooftop! haha
  18. one of those high tempo guys with injury problems, look at the PA year to year so yeah... good player but horrible team and injury issues he is underrated though if you are in a draft or something where he is going 50th for outfielders. I bet his projections would be closer to late 30s.
  19. Reported the deal himself like the 6 tool champion he is Speed Power Hitting Defense Throwing Reporting
  20. I bet he was hurt at the end of the season. Pitching in pain
  21. Yeah Varsho is a low AVG hitter with pop for the most part you just want guys who can get on base in front of him so he's hitting 2 and 3 run bombs
  22. Varsho had three triples last year. "clogging up the bases" is mostly a meme like, hitting behind Kirk might stop him from getting one triple all season
  23. Well there would be less impetus because swinging away into a traditional defense would in theory = a higher chance to get a hit, versus swinging away into the shift. I don't think shift or no shift changes his odds of getting on when drag bunting. The second baseman typically has no influence on those plays unless the batter completely f***s up the bunt. It's normally between the P and 1B to kill that bunt attempt.
  24. But if they can't shift him maybe Varsho just doesn't feel the need to bunt as often
