Lip service for incumbents, etc. We all say Biggio play a very mediocre defensive 3B for a year. I really don't think they want Cavan playing there much

    Guys, IKF is the presumptive 3B. The only argument for signing him is that his 3B defense is elite. They didn't pay 2/15 for a backup infielder or utility man. Not saying they can't sign Chapman and adjust IKF's role but barring that, nobody on the roster is jumping him on the depth chart without earning it in season

    No idea but I kind of do. He had the best 2023 and it wasn't really close. I think he gets $16M or more He has also been more consistently good than the rest

    Chapman's market appears to be exactly where most of us thought it should be. Somehow just under $100M. Not to exceed 100m. Wonder if Toronto jumps back in now

Brandon Belt is begging his agent to even find him a job. Soler is already whining to the media because the Marlins don't want him. No demand.

    it's not a PREDICTION it's a PROJECTION they are still humans, and baseball has lots of variance in Vlad's case, he is an idiot human who probably ignores advice and probably does not train properly you can lower your personal PROJECTIONS for him accordingly. I don't think Steamer incorporates IQ. tools-wise he is exactly the same guy he was when he hit 48 homers...

    He wants to be Seth Lugo I guess But a four year deal? I guess if he does turn into a decent SP he would be a free agent at 32 so he could get a multi year FA contract at SP level money But unless he changes major things he'll just be a 4.50 ERA starter who doesn't even give you innings because he walks so many batters
