  1. "sacrificing for your family back home" ***** you're playing a baseball game in Houston relax Sacrificing WHAT!? what else would you be doing in March!? "We're all beat up a little bit" IT IS MARCH WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?
  2. Interesting figure. I can't read the full article on Sportico (paywalled) but the Jays had a revenue surge in 2025 and are trending up, now top 5 or 6 in making money and closing the gap with the Yankees. Keep it going! Sky is the f***ing limit.
  3. Yesavage might be on the roster day 1 Threw 35 P on Monday. Probably time for two more turns. One this weekend, whether that's in an actual grapefruit league game or not, and the another around March 26th, that's probably some simulated or minor league thing again. He would be stretched out to over 50 P at that point and in line to pitch March 31st at home against Colorado. Maybe he just takes his regular turn, but it's abbreviated piggy back stuff for a few weeks, with Lauer or Scherzer coming out of the pen? And then after the first 7 games there are 4 off days in April so lots of flexibility to do whatever, maybe skip him completely one time.
  4. I have no idea what this means going forward. You'd almost prefer a TJS because that would come with the hope that he comes back in May of 2027 with an extra mph and some renewed effectiveness. My assumption with this thing is that it will just be some annoying tightrope walk until he breaks further. It will be in his head that he has this injury. If it doesn't hurt him he can pitch, but if there is inflammation in there it might be a technical detriment even if it doesn't hurt.
  5. So he has a STRESS FRACTURE in his elbow. It's pain free and only showed up on his physical when trying to get insured for playing for Puerto Rico. He will not make opening day. The nature of this kind of explains... a lot. A lot about the weirdness surrounding his injury and how it was handled, communicated, etc. This is not a standard elbow injury.
  6. So what happens to Maduro now Does he get released?
  7. I mean Hoffman flew in just because he likes losing I guess. He likes this feeling?
  8. tbh they are traitors and I like them less anyway
  9. There is no other explanation for that lineup getting blanked by Ed Rod, Bazardo, Butto, and Zerpa.
  10. Maybe if they dropped the cringe military LARP stuff and just had fun they wouldn't choke this bad? Just a thought
  11. I am extremely satisfied
  12. Venezuela has the position players but not the arms. Some good short RP but the length is suspect! If Nola shoves it might not be close
  13. Good point Next time the finals should be somewhere else Manfred can whine about the travel but he's sent MLB teams to f***ing Japan for regular season games before has he not
  14. Six inches below the zone! lol
  15. Seems like it for Yesavage and Bieber Not so much Berrios
  16. Venezuela has legit bats They are probably a 35 to 40% chance to win in the finals
  17. Doesn't include the Americas
  18. I don't think so. Think this was the only qualifier
  19. There it is! The Red Sox new $130M pitcher gets rocked Japan has the required runs on the board. Just need them to win the game now
  20. So Japan needs to win and score what, 4+ runs? The Olympics will be easy to make
