  1. Jesus Sanchez is a disaster. Sorry, Ross. I can't believe he completely whiffed on that ball in RF last night. How? Any 40 year old softball player catches that. He's not a starter. Lukes will be able to grind out a similar wRC+ and play way better defense. Pinango may be better at *everything*. Barger is superior at *everything*. When everyone is healthy... Lukes/Varsho/Barger across the OF Pinango and Straw on the bench Valenzuela on the bench Sanchez on the bench Schneider in AAA Sosa DFA / traded Heineman traded / DFA Pinango and Lukes can fight for playing time. Sanchez needs to be flipped for a RHB with an INF/OF profile. It is kind of desperately needed. They could also just trade Sanchez for *whatever* and give DS that job but he does not deserve it.
  2. Jazz homer 99 mph down the middle Judge homer 100 mph four inches inside Polanco homer 98 mph down and away Raleigh homer was a 94 mph hanging "changeup" the only one of the four that wasn't a FB In the regular season his 4 seamer was great in 2025 and has been great in 2026. Throwing it 44.4% of the time in both years. His Stuff+ is up from 109 to 119 on it this year, though. So it's elite now when it was just plus before. He seems to have improved the shape slightly, or made it more consistent. The IVB on it last year was not amazing but it is at least above average now. It SHOULD be his primary pitch that everything else plays off but I think the playoffs demonstrated that he can't get too comfortable with it because of his tendency to groove it (he misses IN THE ZONE rather than flying open and missing way up) and the fact that it doesn't have elite shape (Trey can groove 94 and it's hard to hit, Louis can't, at least not against really good hitters.)
  3. Unfortunately they need to trade Nathan Lukes. He has a thin blue line Batman American flag tattoo. Nothing more cringe exists in the universe
  4. His fastball can be hunted and hammered when he throws it too much We saw at all of last season
  5. this game is getting quite depressing i dunno, Pinango?
  6. $500m man is now on pace for a 1.5 WAR season time is a flat circle
  7. Vlad had some UGLY strings that final AB. Some of the worst mechanics I have ever seen for him
  8. Some of these guys are also super dumb at challenges Getting exposed for not actually having any decent sense of the zone Vlad, Heineman, Springer, Okamoto
  9. Atkins needs to swing a deal and shakeup the clubhouse Break up the Barrio style
  10. Every "cynical" fear about the Vlad contract is here again. It's not the elephant in the room, it's the Godzilla on your face.
  11. One of the only sac bunts I've ever agreed with... Guy who can't hit in front of two guys who are slappy
  12. I'm not that brave but I'm feeling bullish so I'll say he successfully puts one ball in play
  13. The division is a lost cause The incompetent American League is making it look like WC3 could be an 84 win team
  14. I did not expect muh top five payroll team's roster to look like this This is what it must feel like to be a Mets fan
  15. Yariel is up from Buffalo for like 4 days and all of a sudden he's the guy you NEED facing then middle of the Yankees lineup in leverage? Brutal decisions
  16. You guys need to relax Always a tough play for the catcher to get that tag, he's blind to the runner
  17. That's such a horrendous lineup I can't even laugh about it Lenyn Sosa fails his audition and is the cleanup hitter!? I get that there are no great options but surely Ernie should flip him
  18. This one was flying under my radar BA just jumped this guy into the Jays top 20 and he sounds like YET ANOTHER legit SP prospect out of nowhere
  19. Corbin and Weathers are both left-handed so this is a toss up. Cease >>>>>>>> Warren Schlitter is pitching well but the Jays know how to hit him Rodon is a fat sweaty mess who just came off the IL and Miles will be a mystery for the Yanks
