  1. Lol refs are doing everything they can to get GS back in this game.
  2. Zero doubt, that’s a bad fracture. Expect him to be gone for 2 months. I hope Draymond biffs a dunk and blows out his ACL. He’s a malignant piece of s***.
  3. Giordano is cleaning up for me this season.
  4. Draymond Green just broke JV’s finger and didn’t even pick up a foul. WTF. f***ing thug.
  5. Raps up 24-15 and yet it still feels like they have maybe a 5% chance to win this game.
  6. The Yankees should have been all over this deal weeks ago at this price. Give me Morton over JA Happ all day long.
  7. Maybe he's a devout Scientologist, I also don't get it. In all likelihood, he'll earn that entire contract in 2019 and 2020 will be free gravy for the Rays. They way they utilize pitchers, they could probably get 4 WAR out of him in 150 IP.
  8. I would rather have Hunter Greene or Jonathan India (obviously). Those two are maybe not off limits, if the Reds are serious about accelerating their timeline while Votto and Suarez are still good.
  9. The Reds would be incredibly foolish to trade Trammell or Senzel.
  10. Why are the Reds looking to acquire pitching when their entire team is a hot pile of garbage?
  11. Brantley is the perfect modern leadoff hitter.
  12. I f***in' KNEW you were Meg Rowley. Way to out yourself.
  13. I'm not upset that my close, personal friend Troy has moved on. It's the best thing for all involved and brutha got paid. What annoys me is when people crap on AA for pushing in chips and taking on salary at a very reasonable moment to do so, completely disregarding 1) the success of those teams 2) the fact that almost every prospect we traded turned out to be nothing and 3) the salary that was "wasted" on Tulo, Josh Johnson, Jose Reyes, etc could NOT have been spent on superstar free agents since those players never would have signed here and the Jays had to be opportunistic in acquiring big money players by trade. They act like AA was a spendthrift lunatic, which is absolute revisionist history. AA was a brilliant contract negotiator, a great drafter, and a very shrewd trader. The fact that the team didn't win the WS during that competitive window doesn't change any of that.
  14. Why don't you shut your revisionist piehole and thank AA for two straight ALCS appearances, dickcheese? Tulo was coming off two straight 5 WAR seasons and a 170 wRC+ the year before. Everybody here jizzed their pants when we acquired him and the prospects turned out to be absolute bums. The player turned to dust and the money was wasted, but you know what? It's really not that much of an albatross by modern MLB standards, go take a look at Miggy, Chris Davis, and Pujols if you want to see what one really looks like. It was absolutely a worthy gamble to take at the time and we were all elated. You're a whinging ****, is what I'm saying. I don't see you bowing down and sucking AA's dick for signing EE and Bautista to highway robbery below market extensions. Why don't you go do the math on how much surplus value he grabbed us there? And while you're at it, go crunch the numbers on the Donaldson trade, which is so far the biggest heist of the decade. I honestly can't believe some of the f***ing whining that goes on around here about AA. He even left us a parting gift of the slam-dunk best prospect in baseball, who literally the whole industry considers a HOF caliber bat before he's even debuted. You should build a f***ing shrine to Alex Anthopoulos, you ungrateful so-and-so.
  15. No, it just made me want to chastise you.
  16. This absolutely does not warrant an exclamation mark.
  17. It feels like the industry perception right now has Realmuto and Syndergaard on par, given Syndergaard's durability issues and the paucity of good catchers in baseball at the moment. Certainly the Marlins have been asking for a ransom for Realmuto going back to the last year (Victor Robles+, Gary Sanchez+, for ex).
  18. Putting aside my own personal biases, this trade seems pretty legit: to Mets: JT Realmuto to Yankees: Noah Syndergaard to Marlins: Miguel Andujar & Clint Frazier The Mets would have to turn around and sign some depth SP like JA Happ, but it's all within the real of possibility value-wise.
  19. *kills self*
  20. This would be terrible for my BORED team on multiple levels. Plz no. I suppose the Mets see Andujar as a viable long-term 3B, because Alonso is their future at 1B.
  21. On tonight's segment of Is This Racist?
  22. How about he's old and he can't f***ing throw strikes and he's never thrown 100 IP in a season? Good enough reasons?
  23. My boy Stammer is heatin' up... yer goin down, Red!
  24. True, he could elect Free Agency: Per Article XIX-A of the CBA, any player on an MLB 40-man roster who has accrued at least five years of MLB Service Time (as well as an international player with Article XIX-A contractual rights) has the right to refuse an Outright Assignment to the minors, or the player can elect to be a free-agent immediately upon being outrighted. I’m assuming he would then receive his full contract. I guess the only recourse for the Jays is to dick him around and bench him and/or declare him medically unfit to play.
  25. That's pretty insane, alright. 3B-only dude who didn't show any juice whatsoever in his comeback this year and will be 32 on opening day.
