I own Kang in BORED and I'm like 95% sure I'll just cut him heading into the waiver draft, unless we contract 2 teams and expand our keeper #.

I'm thinking more like $32-34M buyout. He may not be able to recoup the difference entirely, but if it's a matter of him actually getting a chance to latch on with a team and finish his career with dignity vs. being passed through waivers easily and languishing in AAA, I think he'll take a bit of a haircut to move on.

I don’t really understand why some teams like Boston and Colorado so heavily stack their top line, while other teams like Toronto and Pittsburgh spread out their talent. A top line of 3 of Matthews/Nylander/Marner/Tavares would be every bit as dominant as MacKinnon/Landeskog/Rantanan or Pastrnak/Bergeron/Marchand. In any case I’ll definitely take the free boost Krejci will enjoy playing on that line for the time being.
