    Before Twitter, some of you may recall, CNN headlines sports....well long before Twitter that is. Every 15 minutes past the hour a quick update on sports. I used to tune into that every hour, baseball trades and signings would break there. I think I learnt about the Alomar trade from CNN headline sports....imagine that, seeing Fred McGriff traded away, your favorite player ever and having to wait an hour for the next update. I still remember the end of the quick update....don't know how to spell the name though.... "Jerome jerenivich, CNN Headline Sports!"

    Yup, once. I was on the first base side and spent half the game peaking out over the stadium at the fair grounds behind/beside the stadium.

    I wish we could sign him for 5 mil and promise him a chance to start, then 2 weeks into spring when his vagina starts to hurt convince him for his career it would be better to stay in the bullpen as a closer.

    It's probably very close to even, with an extra 10 mil or so and a draft pick. Having said that I'm predicting Happ has a pretty damn good year in Seattle.

    I came here expecting to read about rizzo for president....and low and behold more talk about ryan f***ing goins. How is this guy the most talked about player on the jays. s***, we landed josh mother f***in Donaldson, Martin, and Saunders and barely a peep about these guys. But, ryan goins, yes let's talk about him more! I like the guy, cause of defense, but enough about ryan f***ing goins. I'm begging. Please.

    @Joelsherman1: Since losing out on Lester, #Redsox have added Miley, Porcello without adversely impacting prospect base, payroll, so can do lots more And I think the Red Sox are about to have a dodgeresque week.

    Cespedes seams so over valued to me. I'm surprised he keeps get trading for good pitching. Maybe I'm wrong and he's actuallly good at more then the home run derby. I feel sox won this trade.

    I'm not advocating ken williams, I'm just saying this process sounds like it's further along in the progress then just talk.

    Rosenthal says ken williams considering resigning as he isn't been given permission to talk to jays....that could mean the beest is gone soon!

    With our depth in prospects I'd be ok with completely punting the draft this year and giving away our top 3 picks, but 10-15 mil per season for a closer might not be the best way to do it.

    I think you'll get slaughtered for Pompey hitting 2nd and Martin 7th, but I might throw Pompey 2nd occasionally as well...maybe when Martin is having a day off. Just occasionally though, for now.

    And if he becomes successful he'll be tossing multiple incredibly hot girls (or boys if he's into it) around hotel rooms in multiple cities in ways we can only dream of.

    I'm all for signing a pitcher. Norris worries me with his loss of velocity at the end of last season....we're due for a tommy john, just sayin. I want Sanchez to start but I want him ready as our 6th starter, maybe even 7th. Chances are we don't make it out of spring training without an injury to a starter.

    I like this poll. Right now the whole world is on AA's cock, if players under perform or we get destroyed by injuries I don't want to see anyone who votes yes to say alex should be fired. He is killing it so far. I also think Happ and lawrie are going to have great years and that doesn't mean these were bad trades.

    AA is in the f***ing ninja zone, count nothing out at this point! Matt Harvey was injured, bring him on board for izturis. Fernandez likely won't sign in Florida so might as well give them Navarro for him.
