  1. Next years rotation.... Price, Cueto, stroman, who cares, who cares...2 months in replace who cares with Hoffman.
  2. Buerhle 20 mil, dickey 12 mil, Romero 7 mil, Navarro 5 mil, izturis 3 mil. 47 mil, I'm sure who ever we spend it on blows out their shoulder after 2 games.
  3. I really recommend no one on this forum watch, like literally not one single one of us. That could turn it around. If we win, no one watches again until we lose.
  4. Don't know what your talking about. Batman? Ghost busters? Luke sky walker?
  5. First game of the year I didn't watch, felt great. Same thing tomorrow. Why Francis is on this team is beyond belief, it really is. I'm ready for heads to roll. Start with gibbons, I was a fan but he seems to be getting worse every game.
  6. The Duquette off season saga makes perfect sense. If Dan was here then AA likely would have been given until July, if the team didn't perform he gets fired and dan is in place to make deadline deals...but now if they fire AA they have to go through the hiring process and there will be no GM to make deals at the deadline. I believe Bautista will still have a few good years, and I think with EEs body the decline could come quick. I would be in support of trading them both this July...but it just won't happen with the way the front office is right now.
  7. I wonder if Dickey could get us anything at the deadline? If starting his next start through the end of the season he put up these numbers ( 3.71 4.32 4.14) era, fip, Xfip, would you pick up his option....12.5 mil I believe?
  8. I saw a Scott Carson tweet that he's given up 90 homers in 97 games, less than a homer a game is good right?
  9. Let's bring in goins to hit. Good choice.
  10. http://t.thestar.com/#/article/sports/bluejays/2015/05/14/former-blue-jay-colby-rasmus-more-comfortable-with-astros.html It's amazing that everywhere he goes he claims was a toxic environment after he leaves. Colby is not the problem...keep blaming the clubhouse you hick.
  11. I record most games I watch. I skip through every Thole at bat and 90% of Loup's pitches. I hate Loup and have got no faith in him. Thole is just a joke, an absolute noodled bat f***ing joke.
  12. I'm probably one of the biggest AA supporters on this board and even I can admit his handling of bullpen assets has been beyond disgusting this year. I actually feel position wise our depth is pretty good...but starting rotation is shocking. On topic...I think this is s .500 team yet again. What a waste of an amazing offense.
  13. The clip of Hoffmans curve on stoetens site is sick!
  14. Vernon wells signed ball. Henderson Alvarez signed ball. Paul molitor, Larry walker, Pedro Martinez signed on one ball...with scott brow as well . John McDonald signed jays toque. JP arencebias batting gloves (anyone want them).
  15. I disagree, when Sanchez throws strikes batters don't square him up, Kelly just sucks. Actually to be honest there's a chance Sanchez sucks just as bad, there's also a chance he finds control and becomes an Ace. Why you all can't agree that he has been lucky this year, not pitching well, but his stuff is electric and deserves a chance to start is beyond me. Anyone ready to put him in the bullpen right now is just as bad as anyone who saying he is having a great season. Neither is right, so let's see what happens.
  16. 6 of those 7 were horrendous calls. I probably thought it was even more because the exact pitches were being called strikes against jays hitters...and yes there are some horrible misses up high to. I still think he's getting better, not good, but improving.
  17. That's fine if you think his performance was terrible as I admit he got lucky. But you should find a way to quickly watch the game and see how many calls the ump missed.
  18. I've never done that, but last nights game was the worst performance I've seen from an umpire. I'm confident you didn't watch the game.
  19. Did u watch yesterday's game? 2 walks were ********, he had one horrendous inning the he Houdini'd out of admittedly. Despite that I'm not saying he was great yesterday, but his stuff looked better and control was better then the first couple starts. If the ump was giving him the outer edge he would have had 2 less walks for sure and a few more strike outs. Yes, not good results, but YES definitely improving.
  20. The kids improving every game, as a 22 year old with insane movement on his 96 mph fastball. Obviously he has been lucky a lot this year, but he also created some of that luck with a couple double plays...which is due to his movement and batters hitting week grounders for days. So yes, he's been more bad then good this year. But anyone who wants to give up and throw him in the bullpen for the rest of his career is insane. Give the 22 year old a chance! It is possible to gain control with age. One last thing, if he can get his 94 mph 3-0 fastball for a strike on the first pitch, and batters start 0-1 instead of 1-0 the strike outs will increase.
  21. Can't they just hit a double, stand on the base and clap! These lame celebrations are lame. Save the celebrations for when we actually sniff a play off spot.
  22. I would trade Edwin for a legit pitcher. Maybe for Cueto in a 3 way. But I wouldn't rebuild.....yet. Let Smoak play first, rotate DH...and have an ace to rely on.
  23. Definitely too many walks, but in my opinion it's also not hard to see he has the best stuff on the team. If he learns to control it he'll be an ACE, big 'if' at this point but if I'm in charge I'm giving him all season at least to find out. Especially with this garbage staff. A few innings he had control and was completely dominate. I think he might have a career like Ubaldo, but maybe not as dominating at his peak.
