Salaries are growing, some great stadiums, lots of talent coming over.
It's definitely got a chance to be more popular than hockey in the US.
The first goal of MLS should be to retain almost all high-end American talent (Dempsey, Bradley, Altidore are a great start).
I wouldn't be surprised to see Ibra, Falcao, Fernando Torres, Iniesta, Xavi, Drogba, Robben, etc. come over during the next few years.
MLS is growing. It's undeniable.
Man, Wiggy has a chance to be REALLY good.
Thought he was too passive early on in the season but he looks so much better now. All the talent in the world.
Ronaldo has accomplished everything an international footballer could accomplish.. Titles in both the EPL and La Liga, trophies, mutliple Balloon d'or's. Maybe he wants to live a chill life in California? It's not exactly easy to maintain the type of motivation required to stay on top in those world class leagues. He could half ass it in America and still be the best player by a mile.
And, let's be real here, TV ratings are driven by old white people. Baseball/curling is much more appealing to old white people than basketball. Younger kids are much more likely to stream games.
Nothing you can do. You can't play the games on TSN because curling is on every single night. Not sure why Sportsnet buries so many games on 360 or Sportsnet One.
