Re-watched the game this morning. Hell of a defensive effort.
These clowns on NBA TV attributed the Hawks losing to their players being tired from Allstar Weekend lol. That was like a week ago buddy.
Every time I see Hurl IRL he goes on a 5 minute drunken rant about how much he hates Cal Ripken due to some event that occured at the ASG in Toronto in the early 90s.
Based on this recurring conversation from respected forum member TheHurl I can conclude that Cal Ripken has zero integrity.
They have to trade some of those picks. Their current core is good but do they have any superstars to really build around? Say if Sacramento decides to rebuild Not enough elite talent on that team.
They'll probably be ~30M under the cap going into this offseason. Sign someone like Jimmy Butler to build around and make a deal for someone like Cousins with all of those assets.
Fantastic article written by our very own Patrick Patterson!:

"If you told me two years ago that I’d be a Toronto Raptor, I would have thought you were crazy. But here I am, freezing my ass off, smiling and winning basketball games."
I just don't understand what Phoenix is doing.
Acquire four point guards. Sell three for 50 cents on the dollar.
In:
Knight
Granger
Thornton
A bunch of garbage protected picks
Out:
Dragic(s)
Thomas
Ennis
Plumlee
Several vastly more valuable draft picks
That's a horrible day. They dumped some guaranteed contracts but surely they could've did better than this. Dragic is a borderline star. Knight is a solid player but are you going to pay him next year?
So disorganized.
Dragic trade also imminent from PHX.
Lots of drama so far. Love Dragic. Not sure about a max deal but he's a great piece to build around (Lakers?)
PHX getting what they deserve though. LOL @ committing all that roster space to three starting PG's. Dragic is arguably the best of the three.
Larry Sanders bought out by Bucks (will receive 13 of the 40M he was promised)
Reggie Jackson requests trade from OKC
Now I'm not a rocket scientist but Larry Sanders seems like a f***ing idiot for taking this. He can re-coup those dollars if he finds a good fit for a team but it's not guaranteed.
I don't really love the West idea either tbh.
KG would be a nice pickup IMO. He could still be effective in 10-15 minutes and would be a great defensive influence on JV.
He's also a great team player and has bought into his new role 100%.
I expect this thread to turn into the following:
"Haha! Stroman is so cool! He looks so awesome on TV! Wrestling! Yeah! The 6! Stro-show!"
"Sanchez looks so stupid why is he even there i can't even look at him anymore"
Yahoo:
Toronto Raptors (Record: 36-17; last week: 6): Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri has long been infatuated with power forward David West, but it’s hard to see Indiana dealing him with Paul George trying to return.

Hard to see Indy trading West with George returning.......?
That team should be in full tank mode. West would be an interesting get but he likely wouldn't take reduced minutes. Might cause a ruckus.

The Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns and Toronto Raptors are also expected to pursue bought out Amar'e Stoudemire.

This would be a fantastic signing if we could get it done. We could fill the expirings/Ross to fill another hole.
He probably goes to LA though... Garnett is also likely going to be bought out. Seeing as how he has like 10 mistresses in Toronto we might have a legit shot at him!
Not the greatest distributor of the ball... probably more of a combo guard then a true PG. Practicing with Rubio should help him (unless he's an egomaniac and isn't willing to listen).
He's still so young though. The raw talent is pretty impressive.
So Zach Lavine can jump really high.
T-Wolves looking like they're going to be a force in 2-3 years... So much high-upside talent on that roster.
Wiggy, Lavine, Shabazz, Dieng, Rubio with excellent trade chips in Martin and Pekovic.
Masai has pretty much shown his hand that he's going to pursue KD in 2016. I highly doubt he adds anything in FA this offseason.
If this is the package maybe Masai can find a way to flip/flop the order of the NYY 1st rounder next year (i.e. Denver can't swap with us). I'm sure he'd find a way to sweeten the pot as Denver appears to be desperate to shed payroll.
That's one of the best 2nd units in basketball.
We dump 2.5 useless players (Ross is semi-useful) and get two players of need (solid wing+ 2nd unit rebounding)
I would do that trade.
