  1. Giovinco scores crazy free kick and pays tribute to the Jays: Dunno how to post video. Scroll down
  2. Threads like these make me cringe at the fact that I had like 50K posts at the old board. It's a message board guys. Who cares. Go out and make some real friends.
  3. Can't edit on my phone, thanks juiced. BJ Ryan in 2006 had a 40 inning stretch to start the year with only 2 ER and 51K/8BB Cecil basically is coming into games in much higher leverage situations while facing the opposing teams best hitters. Guy deserves more appreciation. This is madness.
  4. Has there been a more dominant stretch for a reliever in Jays history than what Cecil has done over the last three months? BJ Ryan in 2006
  5. Easily the loudest game I have ever been to. Voice is completely shot. I thought the floor was going to collapse after Navarro's HR and Hendricks striking out Arod.
  6. Gonna be pretty hard to not give Cecil multiple inning appearances in the playoffs when he hasn't really had a TON of work this year to date. In his last 27 innings... 36K/4BB, 0ER Complete stud.
  7. You're aware that Pillar has been playing all-world defence out there, right?
  8. Lol! Yes, clearly people are scooping up tickets at these outrageous prices. Scalpers are just lowering their prices because they're in a good mood today. You got lucky and preyed on some greenhorn who didn't know any better. Congrats. Huge life accomplishment. I'm only continuing this conversation because there are probably a lot of people who read this board that are interested in buying tickets who don't have that great of a gauge of the ticket market. Waiting will pay off for them. There is no need for you to have a panic attack every time I post.
  9. Sorry for all the rustled jimmies guys. Anyways, even I'm surprised how much prices have fallen. Scalpers just overestimated the demand. I should not be able to buy a lower bowl ticket against the Yankees in the middle of a pennant race for 32$ (as I did earlier today). Seems like massive interest in this team but it's not being reflected in prices. Very odd.
  10. Tickets for game 1 already as low as 108 USD on stubhub now. As I've said (at least 10 times in this thread), you will be able to get into these games for around 100 bucks if you aren't retarded.
  11. Seats on stubhub for tonight going for as little as 13 USD. Cheapest ticket a week ago for tonight was like 35 bucks. It appears waiting it out and being patient might actually be an effective strategy!
  12. Smoak seems to have consistently come up huge in a bunch of really important situations for us...... and then I checked his WPA and he's almost dead last on the team lol.
  13. He's consistently put up pretty nice walk rates. Power is undeniable. Pretty even splits. Sure, why not.
  14. Not sure why so many people in here are getting so butthurt. Anyone with a decent network in downtown Toronto can find available tickets at far less than what is being asked for on Stubhub. It's all about being diligent.
  15. Lol yes because two retards overpaying at an outrageous price clearly is a sign the entire market is willing to do the same.
  16. As predicted, ticket prices continue to fall on stubhub. Cheapest is 154 USD as of right now (~200 CAF) with weeks to go. Exactly in the range Raptors tickets sold for. Nobody is buying at those retarded prices for upper bowls. Sorry.
  17. Saved Osuna's ass in that Yankees game and pretty much won us the game last night. He's made huge contributions in key situations. Preferred Danny V at the time... but Pennington is very reliable. I think it was the right move now in retrospect.
  18. Whoops. Misread. Thought he had another year of control.
  19. Estrada leading AL now in H/9 allowed. It'll be interesting to see what AA does with Marco in the offseason. Pretty mediocre peripherals point to him potentially gascanning next year...but he's cheap and has shown the ability to be a very durable arm. Probably a good sell high candidate though.
  20. There are almost 7000 tickets still available for the Jays/Yanks on Tuesday on Stubhub. If you just refresh every few minutes on the day of the game you can always find a sucker dumping his tix. -Source: Me doing this like 10 times since the trade deadline. Again, same rhetoric was going on two years ago with the raps. People forget how big the We The North campaign was. It was a massive deal in the city at the time. Tickets for game 1 started off in the 250+ range and then settle in the mid 100s. I'm fine with waiting until the last minute.
  21. Sellers are starting to slowly undercut each other on Stubhub. Nobody is going to buy the hundreds of garbage nosebleeds for 300 f***ing bucks a pop. Jays are popular but they are not the Leafs.
  22. There is a huge difference in a casual fan paying 30$ a ticket vs paying 300$ for a s***** ticket.
  23. That's almost 300 CAD. Nobody is going to pay those prices for the upper parts of the 500 level.
  24. Markakis actually had some good power in his younger days. 2 HR. Wow.
