    This is a guy who started out with what appeared to be such a fantastic approach at the plate. Super patient (His O-Swing % has increased dramatically since that great first quarter season). Can't hit a fastball to save his life anymore. And with his defense it really wouldn't have been a stretch to expect 6 WAR a year from him. He was on pace for almost 3.5 last year even with average production at the plate.

    Not like today is a must win game or anything! Lawrie is such a massive bust with the bat, but the glove provides so much value. Still though, I can't believe how brutal he's been with the bat. Looked like we were gonna have a perennial 6-7WAR third baseman. Now we have an all glove-not bat hot head who can barely get on base. 7% walk rate with almost non-existant power over the past two years. Brutal.

    It blows my mind how basically every single player on the team can underperform their career lines. How is that even possible. Did they put the work in during ST?

    If people want this thing to work they have to actively post. One of the major appeals with the old board used to be that there would always be new content and fresh discussion. If regulars simply post a few times a day this thing won't last.

    He's not going to go from postponing the Marlins trade because of Bonifacio to dumping the guy just because of a horrendous month. It'll be something small like Blanco. I really, really can't see them dumping DeRosa. Best case scenario... one of them gets hurt (horrible thing to say but whatever) and changes are made.

    Zero chance AA drops Bonifacio. He fulfills all of the qualifications of an AA type of player: Fast, terrible ability to draw a walk/make contact, posseses an inner tube around the mid section. He's AA's guy.

    Maybe you should do something in terms of like a lottery every three months for moderators. Put every name in a hat and draw 5 names for May-July... 5 different names for July-Sept. It'll keep it fresh and it'll prevent moderators from going too crazy with the ban hammer.
