    Meh, he's just a generic guy. Commentators rarely disrupt my enjoyment of a game unless they make a ton of blunders (which I haven't noticed from Devlin) or are obnoxious tools like Hawk Harrelson or Rick Sutcliffe.

    Yeah, I definitely think the NL has the more interesting crop of power hitters this year. Bryce Harper and Pedro Alvarez better be in it.

    He always going to be the main snub though. Plays for Oakland, isn't lighting it up in any one stat, boring name, etc. Has a freaking 154 wRC+ though...

    Always the same with this team/board...when we lose it's "The season is over, f*** this team", and when we win: "Maybe there's still a chance if..." etc. Sure, there's an outside chance of a run but we'd basically need Dickey and Johnson to pitch like aces for the rest of the season, have Lawrie burst back onto the scene 2011 style, and get at least average production from Izturis/Davis/Melky in order to offset the other holes on the team.

    Well, at least it's turned out to be a nothing trade for both sides, as Nestor Molina is now 24 and repeating AA. The biggest letdown about that deal though is that Santos was the biggest acquisition of the 2011-12 offseason.

    Meh, I've always seen it as just having fun with the team, as opposed to arrogance. It's like that ridiculous bow and arrow thing that the Rays are always doing.
