  1. Yeah, that is interesting. Lol @ Miami.
  2. Just for fun... Jon Jay is hitting .247/.327/.343, -0.3 WAR.
  3. Rays call up Wil Myers, to debut Tuesday. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130616&content_id=50840934&vkey=news_tb&c_id=tb
  4. Yeah I think Rivera's going to get it this year. If Scott Kazmir finishes the year with solid numbers he should definitely be in the conversation as well.
  5. Speaking of Miguel... http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130615&content_id=50714522&notebook_id=50715092&vkey=notebook_mia&c_id=mia Of course, when the worst team in baseball can't find any playing time for you, it's probably time to hang 'em up.
  6. Yes, very. 3.11/2.60/3.23 ERA/FIP/xFIP this year. And he's pitched well against the Blue Jays in the past, IIRC.
  7. One thing that stood out to me today was the approach by the hitters in the 9th. They took a lot of pitches and really made Frasor/Wolf work.
  8. I'll go with the Melkman tonight.
  9. I'd have no issue with a Shoppach/Thole platoon.
  10. Oh, please stop. You'll give us all nightmares. This year's FA starting pitching is especially weak though. Almost all of them are either back end guys or injury prone, with a couple wild cards in Halladay and Lincecum. JJ and Garza are probably the best talent, and even they've had plenty of injury issues between them.
  11. Lol @ making a second post just to get this moronic comment in. Try to be a little more subtle.
  12. Long double to give them the lead in the late innings...that's as good as a home run right?!
  13. Damn, you worked quickly on this one bro Rogers continues to be very solid as a spot starter. Hitting the corners well, and the curveball has been excellent. About time this starting rotation caught a break. Also have to acknowledge Delabar's awesome 8th inning; that was some nasty stuff.
  14. I think they're a pretty decent team, especially once they get Hill back. I'm big fan of Gregorius as well.
  15. Maybe Jordan Lyles! I hear he's having a huge breakout year.
  16. I know they've made a reputation for defying everyone's expectations, but their starting pitching is really bad. Didn't say I expected it necessarily, but if there's one contender I could picture having a second half nosedive, it's them.
  17. Wow, Wilton Lopez just balked twice in the same at bat to let the tying run in from second.
  18. Bautista is 2nd in AL outfielders in WAR, he's an easy choice. Janssen is a possibility but he doesn't have the name recognition or a high save total. Edwin won't start but he should definitely be in the mix for reserves. You don't need to act like we're the Astros or something.
  19. I could see the Orioles maybe collapsing.
