  1. Umm...yeah. That guy is nuts but at least he's sort of amusing.
  2. Lol, didn't even have to look to know it was sobchaksecurity. Same guy that said Rasmus wasn't aiming his line drives last year.
  3. Lol, worst deadline ever. Almost nothing of interest. Wasn't expecting anything from the Jays but usually there's at least a surprise or two around the league.
  4. I really don't see the trade value in Oliver right now, doubt any team would give more than an org guy. If he's not dealt it could very easily be because there's no market for him.
  5. Damn, that's a steal. About time the Padres acquired a pitcher.
  6. The best we could do in that regard is Stroman...but even then the Angels would probably prefer someone who already has some major league innings under their belt.
  7. Wait, that was actually nine pitches? Wow, that is rare.
  8. Wow, I thought for sure Dinger would have him. Usually he only says something positive about a player if they're on his fantasy team.
  9. Well, everyone is always interested in your take on the Red Sox.
  10. Once every couple weeks, Bonifacio actually does something.
  11. What exactly is appealing about Avisail Garcia?
  12. This Peavy trade is getting interesting. Was hoping Oakland would get him for the sake of my fantasy team though
  13. Is Green still a prospect though? Seems like a rather harmless deal for both sides.
  14. Disagree, he hasn't played 2B in years and his career batting line is about the same as Izturis. A marginal improvement at best.
  15. Good post, and I was just going to say that the A's should be all over Howie Kendrick if the Angels are willing to trade within the division. Straily + something for Kendrick perhaps?
  16. Yeah, everyone is insisting that we trade him, and sure it makes sense, but I can't imagine there would be much of a market for 2 months of a 42 year old reliever having a mediocre season who's going to retire after this year.
  17. Quiet! You'll only encourage fatcow.
  18. Hard to say what the root of the problem of is. It may be that these players just weren't coached properly in the minors to prepare them for the big leagues, or maybe they're just *******s. But I think it's mostly that Martinez just doesn't yet have what it takes to be a major league coach. It's a tough job, dealing with douchey young players and trying to get them to respect you, but it doesn't sound he like he has the patience for it, and needs more experience as a coach.
  19. Knew this was coming at some point... I don't think many had the Blue Jays, or any team, running away with the division. I thought every team in the division would be at least average, and had the Orioles finishing last. Oh well, this is what baseball's about.
  20. If new evaluation methods for catchers (framing studies etc.) start gaining more steam, teams could start caring less about his produkshun numbers. Big if, I know, but sometimes things happen more quickly than we expect.
  21. First few are just personal opinions, so it doesn't really matter that they come from a "source". Have noticed that pitchers seem very hesitant to pitch inside to Rasmus lately though.
