  1. One that came to mind was Matt Cain's perfect game, looked it up and it was 1.13.
  2. His ability to consistently keep the ball down in the zone on all his pitches is really impressive. Always a pleasure to watch pitchers with great command. Meanwhile his opponent, Brandon McCarthy, dropped to 1-9 with a 5.29 ERA...and a 2.86 xFIP. How very Brandon McCarthy of him.
  3. 8 strong innings for Dallas Keuchel tonight. He appears to be quite good.
  4. I'm really hoping CHP or gruber or someone is going to take this opportunity to post about how you guys are nothing without your advanced metrics.
  5. Not quite as overpowering as his first two starts but his fastball (and command of it) is really impressive.
  6. I'm awaiting the "This team just isn't very good" thread.
  7. Speaking of which, some of the posters in this thread might feel more at home on that forum.
  8. I'll wait until tomorrow to judge him, because tonight is definitely his most important start to date and will be looked back on for years to come.
  9. Princess Machado doesn't like being touched: http://m.mlb.com/video/v33486795/oakbal-benches-clear-after-donaldson-tags-machado/?query=machado I love how Donaldson is just laughing about it.
  10. As much I'm loving how Buehrle is pitching this year, this pitch count thing is getting really irritating. It's like Gibbons has no respect for him.
  11. What the f*** is with Gibbons being so careful with Mark Buehrle? The guy is the most durable pitcher of his generation, let him have a shot at the shutout.
  12. Ugh, I really don't want to have to look at this guy.
  13. Whichever one it is, the other will probably have to replace Happ so whatever.
  14. Good old Rex Hudler bringing out everyone's favourite stat, hits to RBI ratio.

    NBA Thread

Tough loss but it was great to see a competitive Raptors team again. I'll definitely be watching a lot more regular season games next year.
  16. Ground ball in the hole on the right side of the infield, LeMahieu knocked it down but his momentum made him overrun the ball. Gordon just kept running and got to second. He's lightning fast.
  17. Lol, Dee Gordon just hit an infield double.
  18. Good, now let's never speak of this again.
  19. Also now leading the majors with eight home runs. Good to see him getting off to a good start.
  20. Stupid thread.
