  1. Jays will add an INF no doubt, but might just be a strong backup type. It really depends on the Jays internal assessment of Moreno and the cost of Bryant and other options. And the Jays know a hell of a lot more than us about Moreno's 3B defensive abilities. I don't think there's any real concern about his hit tool.
  2. Can we restart DL73 trade window?
  3. I just traded Brandon Marsh to DL73 for this pick with the intention of taking Thomas. Allow or no? edit - nvm, just saw BTS' decision
  4. Brandon Marsh avail for upcoming pick

    Could be the Leafs year!
  6. That's too weak. Ryu and Pearson/Stripling have too many red flags.
  7. Weighing moving Tyler Glasnow and Keibert Ruiz for a couple of upcoming picks. Good deal for an owner targetting 2023.
  8. Stroman betting on himself here for higher AAV. Napoleon complex. HDMH
  9. Franco replaces Seager J-Rod will replace JD Mart I needed pitching, Snell certainly wasn't my first choice, but he will rack up the K's and Wins.
  10. I'm going for it this year. Brandon Lowe and Blake Snell.
  11. Seager, JD Mart, Graveman for BTS' next two picks. BTS to confirm.
  12. I've sent out multiple offers.
  13. Kikuchi's underlying metrics are good. He's a perfect option for SP5.
  14. Spanky is always looking for something to complain about. He's a bitch, basically.
  15. Corey Seager and JD Martinez avail
  16. Probably where the line is, anyone worse and forget it, go with epy, big, smitty, and gabe.
  17. Its a bit more nuanced than that. The ones I have seen, that unless a Bryant, Chapman, JD or some clear upgrade like that is available, there is no point in paying someone marginally better, but to use Espinal/Biggio/Smith initially and bet on Moreno being the real deal. And put that money elsewhere. It's about optimizing return on investment. Also, wrt Kikuchi, if he turned down $13M from the Mariners, that doesn't necessarily mean he will turn down $13M from the Jays. Sometimes a player wants a change or doesn't like the org.
  18. I think we should start the draft this evening, 7 pm, given its a workday?
  19. draftpicklottery.com was used. Order is BTS, DL73, FantasyNewb. Snake draft.
  20. Rox are in on Bryant. I can't figure that team out.
  21. Yeah, Misner is a 45FV on Fangraphs. That's not nothing. Rays move Wendle for an OK prospect and make room for a player >> Wendle in Brujan.
  22. Kevin Smith is a Buffalo based injury fill-in. If he gets the call due to injury and performs well (> Espinal or whoever), that's the only way he ends up getting regular reps on this team.
  23. 5/100 for Freeman? Never happen. 5/150 minimum.
  24. Regardless of trading for Wendle vs. just signing Duffy, Jays already have comparable players in Biggio and Espinal. For me, unless they are getting a Bryant, a JD, or a Chapman, or a J-Ram, they are better off betting on Moreno.
  25. I can see Ed Rogers in the background pushing for a Freeman signing. That's the only way a Jays pursuit of Freeman makes sense.
