  1. The one guy that noticeably doesn't join in the rah rah is Biggio. Probably just a reserved guy I guess.
  2. Donovan 19 SB in MiLB this year, probably 55 to 60 speed. Tough out for anyone on a hit down the 3B line.
  3. The thing about bold predictions is they are almost always wrong.
  4. He wasn't a FA though. Still 2 years away, which would depress the contract value. It's a reasonable value given the circumstances and length.
  5. We will be watching. Welcome!
  6. There was a tidbit on fangraphs a week or so ago. Trout and Sandoval are 100% healthy. Trout is running at full effort. No report on Rendon.
  7. Gray will cost more. Matz is currently expected to be 3/36, Gray 3/45
  8. If Matz true market value on a one year deal is $15-16M, the $2-3M premium to lock down SP security early in the season in an uncertain FA market has very little impact on the ability to sign other players to multi year deals. Eh, $21M for 1 year of Syndergaard who is probably going to struggle the first few months (like almost every TJS returnee).
  9. 18.4 and we will see, depends on how the FA market shakes out
  10. They might end up wishing they had depending on how the rest of the offseason goes. A 1 year committment is different and priced differently than 7 years.
  11. Good deal, even assuming a couple of years are lost to injury or suckage, it works out to 5 year / 140M or $28M AAV which is fine for a pitcher of his calibre.
  12. The order is correct, considering proximity. Marte is furthest away but has the most power of the 3 though.
  13. You might be underestimating Tork and Greene.
  14. Smart thing to do is wait till the last day. He could get injured tomorrow.
  15. Tigers gonna get good, fast.
  16. The warmup pitches are when the advertising dollars come in. Not going to change. Definitely once its game on, cut out the delays, both batter and pitcher.
  17. Indeed. Who is more risky, Kershaw or Verlander?
  18. Pujols is a HOF'er. Dumtoya will play him over Vladdy at 1st.
  19. Being used in AFL right now. Nothing on MLB adopting it.
  20. I wouldn't object to Schwarber but would rather they spend that money on pitching, and rotate players through the DH position. For 3B, my number 1 is JD, in part because he will get hurt at some point, which will probably coincide with a perfect time to elevate Moreno. 1. Springer, CF 2. Bichette, SS 3. Guerrero, 1B 4. Teoscar, RF 5. JD / Player Rotation, DH 6. Gurriel, LF 7. Jansen/Kirk/Moreno, C 8. Moreno / JD, 3B 9. Biggio, 2B
  21. Verlander possesses the fountain of youth. I would sign him just to see her fill out a Jays jersey.
  22. Nope go ahead. Don't let Spanky stop you from anything.
